Life / Clothing for kids in Poland, popular stores - some questions [18]

You may write there, then its the same as in the rest of Europe, nowadays very few people buy clothes in a "bazar" at least not in cities. Shoping centres taked over Poland.

Other children clothes shops I know are: 5-10-15, H&M has got its own children clothes area in every shops i suppouse and so on ...

Life / WHY IS POLAND SO DIRTY ???? [44]

Heh, yes, trehe is a lot of rubbish, litter, but its not as bad as in UK for example. When i was in Glasgow for the first time it was a great shock for me. Its looks like we all should do sth against it, wherever we are.

Language / Polish phone keypads - roman alphabet? [5]

Now I only have to solve the mystery of why numeric/calculator pads are inverted compared to phone pads and I might see some logic in keyboard layout...

It might have sth to do with sequence of letters in alphabet i suppouse :) It would be strange to have "a" letter at the bottom :> But i'm just guessing. That would be the answer for question why phone keyboard are inverted compared to calculator/numeric :)

So answer to your question might be ... numeric is much older than phone keyboard and thats how they developed it and thats how it still is.

Language / Polish phone keypads - roman alphabet? [5]

Generally it's all the same, it's pretty rare to find a keyboard with polish letters. Phone keyboards are just the same as everywhere in Europe - you may find more leters added but still its not very common.

News / Poland's overall view on the US? [38]

I think it is really hard to look objectively at the topic. For most of the people here and in rest of EU as sbd already told, USA is super power and many think they use it for they own buisinesses and they dont look forward at all - probably many is right.

USA seems to act as "I know all - You know nothing" sometimes. After all, all of what is going on in Iraq and Iran is provoked by the US diplomacy in the past, at least this is what we hear in TV ...

On the other hand, we wont be able to say who is right for the next 50 years or sth. None of us may know what is really going on there. Its just strange how USA force to introduce democracy to the countyies which (it seems to) dont want their "help". And there is other hand as well. As we all know at the beggining of the war Iraqi people was really happy, I suppose they fought that everything changes in couple of weeks ...

UK, Ireland / Help needed - Calling all Polish persons living/working in London [60]

In Poland its more like in US. Its all inherited from the past. And now Poland is becoming to be kind of police country as well. You can be overheard without court permission for example.

Recently our goverment had new ideas, like forming new police organisations - CBS(Central Buerau of Investigation) it was supposed be kind of FBI and futher CBA(Central Anticorruption Bureau), hell knows what for.
