UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

I live in England and I don't know anybody who hates the Poles inparticular. I think there's a general view that people were afraid of mass immigration since Poland joined the EU, but most Poles have seen to be hard working and there's nothing nasty about them. Many supermarkets have even started selling Polish food brands. We had a shortage of NHS dentists in Britain as dentists started getting greedy and only doing private work, but my Polish dentist was the first National Health Service dentist we had for ages so I'm glad he moved here. I think people who make a fuss are stupid, as when England didn't have enough work for builders in the 1980s they all went to Germany to work. I would rather have Poles coming here than people from third world countries like Africa, as South London is full of them shooting each other and treating it like a jungle.
