History / An apology to Poland from Australia [55]

I don't believe that I need to apologise for other peoples actions or words - dead or alive. It makes no sense and is kinda pointless.

USA, Canada / Polish stuff vs. American stuff [107]

Americans love animals but in the families with children they don't treat them better than kids

Actually, that statement says that people who have children and pets in their household won't treat them (pets) better than their children. Children are treated better than pets. Pets aren't treated equal-to or better than children. This statement is only looking at households with children and pets, how does that represent the entire US population, and how is that clear? am I missing the point?

I'm Australian, not a Polish citizen.

When you said...

Poles - majority of you treat animals like crap so what's good about that

You didn't say generally in your original post, so I took it to mean ALL Americans. Be clear.

I'd have to disagree with the animal arguments.

I have seen many people treat dogs like children in Poland.

You're saying America has no animal cruelty? that's rubbish. America expresses a lot of animal-cruelty/abuse. Cruelty of any kind exists everywhere - no country, nation, state etc. is immune.

Food / Pierogi with fruit filling? [30]

you can google pierogi recipes, it'll lead you to some sites.

I love strawberry pierogi. I was going to make some ruskie pierogi tonight, but having soup instead. I'll see if I can post some recipes from my mother's polish cookbook...on the sweet varieties.
