UK, Ireland / If yer Coming tae Scotland, Remember Please [14]
Scotland has its own Law, own cash,own language,etc compared to England and Wales and northern Ireland so any immigrants should understand this
Most Scots dont like being called British, anyone can be that, just needs a passport
Most Scots will fly a Scottish saltire, Cross of St Andrews, than a union flag,nothing to do with racism.We have our own flag so we use it.
Most Scots dont put water in whisky or sugar in porridge
Most Scots dont like posh english accents

Most religious battles between Catholics and Protestants are in West of Scotland, 12th July,
Most football battles mixed with Religion is between Rangers (Protestants) Celtic (Catholics)

Example years ago Rosyth Dockyard was going strong and employed thousands, then Government decided to use Devonport in south England and closed down Rosyth and then it was taken over by a private company but they didnt employ as many workers
When Maggie Thatcher decided to close down Fife Coal Mining industry, she promised to replace it by training the miners to do other jobs they didnt train anyone as they didnt replace it with any new jobs, same with all promises of what the Forth Road bridge would do for Central Scotland and all the work it would bring in, they came accross the bridge and started to build electronic factories etc under the bridge at places like Dalgety Bay all the foriegn companies from Japan etc, and after they got established for a few year got all grants then they moved all works to Europe for cheap labour, they just used Scotland to get a step into Europe.and closed down works in Scotland.

Im not saying the poles have no rights in Scotland ,,Im just saying at the present time there isnt enough work for scots.why do we need immigrants what will they do, go on the dole.

We dont dislike immigrants , its just for last 300 years we havent had enough work for the Scottish people never mind bringing in immigrants, Scotland doesnt have enough work for Scottish people due to Englands Westminster government has always seen to that,
Scotland had Shipbuilding industry,Large fishing fleet, Car making industry, Coal mining industry,Steel mills, Clothing factories, Electronics...English governments removed all our industries and the coal fields destruction was the final straw, Scotland has a population of 5 million
England has a population of 65 million so before we got our own government whatever English voted for Scotland had to take,
Only reason England doesnt give Scotland Independence so we can create our own industries , is they wouldnt like to pay for our Scottish oil, and electricity and Water that England needs,
So we cant employ our own people and thats why we dont need immigrants at this time.
we have always welcomed the Poles, they helped us out when we had the many Miners strikes.and even WW2 .

I have a question for you now. Why did Poland want to join EEC if you dont wish to get rich, your country will get richer by being in the EEC or maybe you preferred to be in the USSR.
Interested in opinions of all Eastern Europeans, are you worse off in EEC.
I can assure you people in UK dont want foreigners coming to work for lower wages than national rate in England of £8 per hour.if thats being a capitalist then so be it, you can always donate half the wages to others if you feel you are becoming rich :)
