Life / PRICE OF DENTAL SERVICES IN POLAND? [8]

My dentist is in Leszno where I live, he's really good and did an excellent job on my chipped tooth? Where are you? If you want his number I will dig it out for you? :)

Life / Will my ps3 work in Poland with a normal 3pin-2pin adapter? [25]

Yeh the chat thing linked up to your MSN messenger is good and thats where Sony need to improve PSN, but PSN is free unlike XBL no monthly subscription, so that sold me as well. But hey, glad there is another tech head on here as well! Maybe we should get a thread going for some online gaming?? :))

Life / PRICE OF DENTAL SERVICES IN POLAND? [8]

Hey Polonius3, I have quite a bit of dentist work done here as its so cheap! My dentist is very good and would recommend him. I have paid 100zl the most for one treatment which was reparing a broken tooth and getting a cap fitted. Had them cleaned and polished (Im a tea drinking smoker!) which was about 70zl, Had chipped tooth filled for about 50zl. Certainly worth it for me! Just need to find a good dentist I suppose? :)

Life / Will my ps3 work in Poland with a normal 3pin-2pin adapter? [25]

Hi coventrywarsaw, I have my PS3 out here in Poland and my Wii. All working fine! I have my PS3 and Nintendo plugged into a 2 pin adapter no problems. I am also using my English Netgear Wireless Router, but I run my PS3 through the cable as its better for online gaming, less chance of the WiFi dropping out, but yes it does work on WiFi ok, same with the Wii. I have setup a Polish PSN account so you can buy downloadable content in Zloty, but I can still use my UK account as well. Also using my US and Japanese accouts no problems either.

If your using a Wii, you have to set it up as if you were in England so make sure you set it for UK region not Polish or the online Nintendo store wont work. Found that out by tial and error! Hope that helps? Any other tech questions, feel free to drop me a line. :))

Love / Polish girls' obsession with marriage [124]

I must be the odd one out here, I have been with my Polish g/f for over a year now and she has never behaved in anyway as described on here! The talk of girls on here always seems to be about the extremes of their natures. I think the majority of Polish women are normal and decent. All my g/fs friends are polite and typical women as they seem to always talk about shoes and clothes like any woman I have known in England. When we lived in England I had to force my g/f to let me buy her shoes or a coat if it was snowing or chucking down with rain and we were out in town, I would buy her a warm coat or a warm pair of boots but would have to fight with her to let me do this. I was only trying to be a good b/f! She has never asked me for anything apart from when she has gone food shopping and wanted some Peluski which she seems addicted to.

And as far as marriage etc we both will do it when the time is right and we have enough money, and we both do not mention the word baby. I suppose the conversation is always going to be about the extremes of peoples natures on here as the mediocre would be a short boring conversation that no one would take any notice of! Just my pennys worth! :))
