News / Forget Ukraine! The question is: " Is Poland going down??" [36]

We are all responsible,
* the mortage broker that sold the mortgage and did not care shit if you could repay the loan, as long as he got his commision

* The loan taker, who should not have taken the loan, but was blinded by rising property values.
* the rating agencies who rated these loans as tripple A
* The big players who traded these loans in the market
* Schools, local goverment who invested in these loans
* The insurers who insured those loans
* The regulator for failing to act when it still mattered.

That is the problem with bubbles, a single person/entity can not create it, we all did!

There is alot of truth in that statement. It beats me how some of the top paid, top educated people at the top of their professions could not see what was about to happen "almost overnight". However, surprise surprise they appear to come out "glowing", whilst the rest of use have to sweep up the crap.

Well, if you sell a mortgage to a 60 year old junk without income, assets and a decent house, you can get a away with it if you have one or two of those mortgages. If you have hundreds of thousands of these mortages you get the problems we have right now. There is nothing artificial about that.

Only the bang happened overnight, but the balloon was inflated during the last decade or so. there were enough people who warned for the bang...

jeroen: Then stop escaping your own country, like millions of Poles have done.... Appearantly Polska isn't that good!

Polska is a great country, filled with strong culture, values and traditions, may not be the richest, but who said it had to be, to be great in the eyes of those who live there? And im a 3rd generation polish american with more german ancestry anyway. So, shut it.

I am not saying that poland is a bad country, my wife is polish I spent a lot of time in Poland, I love it there! It is the people like **YOU** that make Poland look bad!!

I don't know where you get this from???.
More Banks are opening up here.
The Polish law was so strict that the money could not leave Polish branches of foreign owned banks.

For example, the Dutch bank ING has a big Polish bank, but is now in trouble saving their own stuff in the Netherlands and Alt-A exposure in the US. The problem is not money leaving the Polish branches. The question is, will ING save the polish branch.

ING is just one small example of this, ....

Are you saying millions of Poles are all going to come back? and swallow their money?.

They are already doing this. I don't know if you have lived on another planet the last months. The construction sector is down and out! A lot of Poles are taking one way journeys back to Poland, not only here in Belgium, it is everywhere in western europe.

Polska does not need your diversity, polska will do whats good for her and her kin. End of story.

Then stop escaping your own country, like millions of Poles have done.... Appearantly Polska isn't that good!

There are quit some remarkable extreme views on this forum here... I can understand that people are upset with the problems migrants are causing, in the US as well as in Europe. I am new on this forum, I thought it was a decent forum, But this forum looks more like an extreme right forum than anything else.

With all respect to you,we both are bumping our heads against the wall trying to communicate with each other.. We both are entitled to our own views on this subject. I respect yours, and hope that you will respect mine.

One question.. Are you a Brit?

We have the same views! I feel superior to certain people.....

I am not a brit, I am from Belgium.

I am trying to imagine how your perfect world would be. The only thing I can think of is 5 billion human beings who are a perfect clone of eachother, wear eactly the same cloths and think exactly the same. In any other world you would get thee problems we have right now.... right?

Yep! That is exactly the way that I look at it. Until they learn how to live like human beings, that is how they should be treated.

Well, if you decide who is a human being and who is not, then you are the new GOD, I think. But then don't be offended by people who hate you for your blond hair, big nose or strange breasts.

Cities being destroyed?? Ooh you mean, all the indians that the Americans have killed? But wait these were not human beings, right?

You talk about superiority, well evolved, technically developed and human beings. But you are forgetting one thing.. I don't know you at all, but from what I can read, I know you have not developped as a good human being!

What did the Africans ever contribute?

Human beings have their origin in Africa..... What gives you the right to feel superior above black people?

The first lesson any decent person should learn: "Treat people the way you like to be treated...". With millions the (white) Polish people came to Western Europe to have a piece of the labor markets. But if one immigrant (black, muslim or gipsy) steps into Poland, they are treated (by some) as inferior....

As I said, please go back to school and read darwin and the history books.

The superior wealth we live in the West here came within the last couple of hundreds year or so. Do you think that makes any difference on the evolution that takes place in timescales of millions of years???

The chinese were a seafaring nation long before the europeans, if they did not decide to stop exploring further maybe we would be al speaking chinese. And maybe we will still do if the finacial systems in the US and europe collapse.

Maybe a virus will turn up that kills us all except for the black people who have a certain gene that we do not have.

All I am trying to say here is, our Western domination and superiority over the rest of the world is by pure chance... I can't help it if you don't see that.

Please read Darwin and the history books. People moved from Africa to other climates where they evolved (turning white!!) as they are right now. So, forward, in what sense?

Maybe we move to Mars in ten thousand years and turn purple because of different atmosphere pressure...??

No i don't think so, some are ok but most minorites just sit on welfare have a bunch of kids and mooch off the government, they're like a plague. it's the same all over the world America Western Europe, they make their problems ours, there is plenty of white people in Europe, real Europeans, that need work, we need to preserve our European identity and culture. And no i don't think mixed babies are pretty, i think white babies are pretty.

PennBoy,
It is the year of Darwin. You should have paid more attention during your high school. White people evolved from black people.....

News / Forget Ukraine! The question is: " Is Poland going down??" [36]

Some concerns to think about:

* Foreign investors are withdrawing from Poland. The economic growth and wealth in Poland was/is for a large part driven by these investors.

* Most banks in Poland are owned by foreign banks who are already in a difficult situation, these mother banks cannot (or don't want to) save their polish branches.

* The millions of Polish workers outside Poland were generating nice cash flows into Poland, but these people are working in sectors that are hit hard by the crisis (Construction, transportation, factories). This is already stopping.

It is going to be a very tough period for poland.....
