Language / Do Polish Movies Help learn the language? [60]

I think the group Kombi is a good one to listen to for a start

They sound pretty good. :) I like it even though I'm more into faster songs, but I like it. =)

Language / Do Polish Movies Help learn the language? [60]

there are lots of Polish music on youtube.com
most of the time you would have to know names of artists or groups
you can ask for lyrics translations in here

Any suggestions for songs from mostly any genre? I'm not too picky.

Love / What is the best car to impress a Polish girl? [60]

How come all the people who come in the relationships section (at least the threads I have seen) all of them seem like they have no dating experience or that they think Polish girls are like a totally different species?

Travel / What Things Are There To Do in Poland For Teens [8]

What's there to do in Poland for teens and stuff like me? I am 15 and I've looked at what some wrote, but most are stuff to do as an adult. Also, what is there to do if you do not drink at all or plan on not to... >.>

Love / British Asian with Polish Stunner!!! [22]

Its not that bad you just have to be very cautious and suspect everybody. the Poles have been subject to extreme poverty, its all in the history. Im not knocking it if the shoe fits and all that. Man has to feed children man cheats his way to profit. A man that has nothing has nothing to lose.

All kinds of reasons really, although i lived in many foreign countries i always wanted to live in a foreign country mid-long term. My wifes Polish so it made snese to give Poland a bash.

Im renovating a historic palace and im tied in for a few years among other things.

That's interesting too... I don't think I'd be able to live in Poland... I'm not that gullible, but I'd probably get tricked more easily than most people. I want to move to Switzerland when I grow older after college. :] It's lovely there, but I was thinking about Poland not sure if I'd be able to make it out there, especially since I have it really good here in America. Does your wife care if you two move away from Poland to somewhere of less poverty? Anyways, hope you keep cool while you're still there. Wish you the best of luck.

Life / Any Polish B-boys or breakdancers in Poland? [7]

Oh that's cool I'm a b-boy, but I live in America just wondering how the scene is in Poland. Great to know that Hip-hop is truly universal. =]

Are there many Polish b-boys or breakdancers (as they are more commonly known) in Poland? How big is the scene there if there are some Polish b-boys?

Food / What First Polish Dish I Should Make? [30]

What first Polish should I try making? I really don't mind one it is, but my friend who's Polish that I know from New Zealand said I should try to make golabki and he also said it might be hard to make that. He either said that or bigos. Are there any suggestions of any other Polish dish that's popular I could make for lunch/dinner. Thanks, I've never ate Polish food in my life or haven't even seen it personally, so I would really enjoy this. =]

Edit: Possibly something not too complex. ;]

Language / Do Polish Movies Help learn the language? [60]

Woah so many posts already. Polish porn uhh sure lmao... I'm not sure if I'll be able learn Polish from movies thoroughly without a little more experience actually a lot more... I just started a while ago and I don't think I really got much to work with. Are there any good Polish movies/t.v. shows that you guys easily understood once you started learning Polish? Or like show programs that are designed for your learning like in my French class last year we used MUZZY! =D
