benszymanski, I must say that your blog is an excellent read for somebody moving to Poland... Thanks for all the information on there!

Life / moving to Poland, and importing my car [5]

Thanks, very helpful reading your experience!!

I was prepared for a bit of bureaucracy, but it seems like I have to reserve more time for this ordeal than expected...

Now comes the tricky part: probably I will be registered about 200 KM from where I will live... Something to do with landlords not allowing to register at the rented flat, and me having to register at my girlfriends parents house... Do I have to go to all the government offices in the city I am registered in, or can I take care of this in the city where I actually live?

Life / moving to Poland, and importing my car [5]

I will be moving from the Netherlands to Poland in March, and I would like to bring my car with me. I already figured out what I need to do in the Netherlands to export my car, but I have no idea what I need to do in Poland. Can somebody tell me what documents I would need to bring from the Netherlands, what Polish documents I need, and what offices I need to visit.

Currently I am not registered in Poland, so I assume I have to get that sorted out first.

Life / Belgian moving to Krakow, need practical info [38]

Hello dxx,

I am also looking into moving to krakow. Are there at this moment options for a Dutch speaking finance educated university graduate (with a couple of months experience) with IBM in krakow? From all the companies hiring Dutch speaking finance people, IBM seems to be the best choice.

Please send me an email if possible. Thanks!
