I have a lot of Polish and Romanian friends here shelly and they are hard working and pay their taxes and embrace the British way of life as well as keeping their own customs... Not all immigrants are our ememy. If it wasn't for the Indian's we would still be using Roman Numerals and would our mathematicians exceeded in science the way they did if it were not for the number '0' ? What faith would the majority of us have if it wasn't for the asians and europeans travelling miles to bring Christianity to the island. What about Einstein...need I say more.
In my opinion, obesety is down to the individual...the reason people are so fat is because they like to blame someone or something else to justify themselves....no one forces them to eat the food, they shove it in their own mouths and then sit and watch soaps all say and night.
I have learned to cook different dishes from my friends, in my own kitchen. Hands on experience is far better than a book; would you not agree.

didn't you notice that since an abundance of curry houses and chinese chippys opened the British got bigger!

Sorry but those hats are a total turn off...what about him then :op...now there's a HAT.
I asked my hubby to dress up as a highway man once.....never again....There I was waiting patiently, candles lit, and he walkes into the bedroom in a bright yellow HI VIZ jacket and trousers with MOTORWAY MAINTENANCE written on his back.
Ain't men sweet eh.....

True say...we can't please everyone all of the time.
Yeah I have a next-door-neighbour who fled here whan all that went on but there were a lot of black Africans that didn't want the white farmers to leave but had no choice. The farmers worked side by side with black African workers, they didn't segrigate themselves from the black community.

To be honest, I don't mind. I have learned some very interesting history, cooking, outlooks etc and I'm more the wealthier (knowledge) for it. I don't mind anyone comming to my country and settling here and contributing to it. It's when they won't attempt to learn the culture or language, form their own small communities with their own laws and bleed the system dry.. When other cultures live like that I can't see why they wanted to leave their own countries in the first place...It don't make sence.

Don't worry mate, you get used to it after about 50 years. There is a positive side; y'get to have loads of Chinese & Indian curry houses and y'get to learn all about African culture (grippingly exciting). Y'get to sing BARR BARR Green sheep, Snow Yellow and the seven dwarfs and instead of being 'black mailed' y'get to be Orange mailed.
Sadly you might find the word 'POLISH' and your flag becomes an offensive word/symbol to the ethnic minorities so you might not be able to say/display em in about 15 years time. But there's GOOD NEWS; you get to listen to Bangarly Rap and have mosques and Gudwari temples build in the inner cities of your country.

Yes thanks to globalism, and thats thanks to our leaders. I dont know about the rest of you, but I think Poland belongs to those who are POLISH,

Intelligent - I predicted 4 years ago that this 'underground chamber' where they are trying to smash little nutrons apart to try and make 'gravitons' to recreate 'the big bang', well I said if there are 'gravitons' there has got to be 'anti-gravitons' Its logical there has to be an opposite. If a graviton explodes then an anti-graviton must implode (black hole). No one took a blind bit of notice of what I said, they thought I was mad. FOUR years on, the Governments have only took it to the human rights court because they predict it could cause a black hole and end the world in FOUR years. Which coinsides with the Mayan Calender. No one told me, i figured it out for myself, thats intelligent.

You've been married and living in India with your little Polish wife and it's Christmas (ooooh that could be a problem) so all the family are over from Poland to have one MAJOR drinking session (these are hardened Polish Catholic drinkers remember, they take no ****).
Her dad brews his own 99% proof home made rocket fuel (vodka). and brings some over with him. He offeres a bottle of his best batch to your dad in the hope of getting totally slozzeled and bringing out the family photo album.
What would your dad do Roy?
(I thought India was siekh & Hundu by the way????)

The question is, would you (if you met a nice Catholic Polish Girl) change your religion to Catholic OR expect her to change to Muslim?
What pressure would your parents put on to you in that respect?
My sister married a muslim and he always threatened to steal and send her daughter (errr my niece) to Yemen and marry her off if my sister didn't do as she was told.
I would have personally nailed his balls to the wall
As far as customs and traditions, i gurantee our customs is a lot like the polish customs. we go to church on fridays and fast
