USA, Canada / San Diego Polish fest 2008 [6]

It was a lot bigger this year. They have some new people in charge of all the festivals and "imprezy." They like to go all out and it pays off :) They also are getting a lot more money lately, i dont know from where, but it has allowed them to splurge a little. :)

USA, Canada / San Diego Polish fest 2008 [6]

I know what you mean! I went to a Polish Festival once in San Diego, not sure if it's the same one you're talking about, but I won't go again. I'm going to stick to the Polish Festivities in Yorba Linda. :) A million times better and more enjoyable! Real Polish dancing and music and just pure fun!! I don't know if you've heard or been to the Pope John Paul II Polish Center in Yorda Linda but it is a great place.

They have two main festivals in Yorba Linda: Proud to Be Polish Festival and the Dóżynki Harvest Festival. Both are amazing :)

Work / Americans teaching english...your help please! [51]

wow I am almost the same exact situation. I am also first generation American and want to live in Poland really badly. I am going to be going to college next year so I might study abroad in Poland. If that doesn't turn out then I hope to move there in hopes of teaching English.
