when i was younger my grandmas side of the family was very polish and had a strong polish culture surrounding them. sadly most have passed away now, and i really want to feel that belonging again. silly? i dont know.

75% Polish = from the neck down... head is another 25% of a different nationality...

lol exactly.

I just cant work out how somone can be 75% Polish. Please enlighten me???

its probably incorrect but the way i saw it was my mom is 100% so i got 50% from her and my dad was 50% polish 50% ukranian so i got 25% of both which makes 75% polish and 25% ukranian.

now someone yell at me and tell me how stupid this reasoning is. ;)

I wish the 3rd and 4th generations would wake up and realise that they are actually Americans.

i dont think this will ever happen. most young people in america stay in groups based on nationality.

USA, Canada / DO AMERICANS/CANADIANS TRAVEL TO POLAND???? [57]

I think many people know more of France and England because of the media. Like American movies filmed in England or France. I can't think of one movie or song mentioning Poland. And our school system is not the greatest, we spend only a short time exploring european countrys. I would love to visit Poland soon and will spread the word as much as possible. (:

Take care all!

I REALLY want a Polish boyfriend...and eventually a husband. The problem is that I am not 100% polish, only about 75%. I also can't speak the language, but I'm trying very hard to learn! Do you think him and his family would still accept me? Or am i completely hopeless...? I'm willing to change for him. I know i sound silly, what do you guys think? Thanks for reading, Take care (:
