omg, it looks like you know nothing about your own religion....... Sure you include stories of Abraham in the Koran doesn't mean Abraham started the religion..... It was Muhammed responsible for the book you see today... What kind of muslim are you if you don't know that...

islam was around way before the quran was revealed to the prophet..and im not going to sit and explain to you what i know and dont know about my own religion..your not even a frickin muslim and you think you know so much by what your reading off the net!!!

u keep finding these websites which are anti-islam but have u tried to search the web about sites which are pro-islam??? coz i think you'l find that there are many more!

Muhammed himself the founder of Islam ordered such punishments personally....

im sorry your wrong there matthias, the propehet muhammed didn't order nothing personally..god revealed these messages to muhammed..and these punishments were seen fair..and if im not mistaken isnt the phrase "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" from the bible?? the book of exodus???

oh and muhammed wasn't the founder of islam..islam started wayyy before him..it was abraham that started this generation of islam..the muslims before abrahams rule had different ways of life..

and anyway why can't people accept that this is the religion of many..and if they are happy following it then why do they have to defend it to the likes of people who know little about it and are always criticising it..let us get on with following our religion and you follow yours..

err....if u look under my name it sez i am FEMALE and y assume that i am marryd??? im not.. n my parents arent even from pakistan..or india 4 dat matter..!!! its wrong 2 assume!!!

the ways of the old country are firmly embeded in their lives...

i dont thnk theyr out 2 change views..they jus complain about them..lol..

well its a bit complicated when it cums 2 marrying in2 other cultures and religions..from wat i remember (n it myt b wrong so will hve 2 do sum research) but men can marry women from other cultures (im not quite sure if they have 2 convert 2 islam 1st tho) but women cant marry ne1 hu isnt a muslim..so if she is in love with a guy hu isnt muslim den 2 b able2 marry him he has 2 convert 1st..

2 b fair i dont really know of marriages that work wen the 2 mix..im sure there are the sum but from my experience n people that i know it dusnt..BUT then agen i know a lady hu was marryd like twice 2 muslim men and is now happily marryd 2 a white guy..but he had2 convert 2 islam..i jus dont know how well he follows islam..dus that make sense???

hmmm....i wudnt say i was traditional..but i do have limits which i wouldn't cross..but i think of myself as British and der r obviously thngs that other cultures allow which arfen't aloowed in mine and uv jus gta get on with it..n i totally agree with many of the comments iv read about not changing laws 2 suit muslims..laws shudn't need 2 b changed..we shud all b able 2 live 2getha respectful of each others cultures and religion..but like i sed the some people hu have moved here from elsewhere don't c it like this..

im a muslim and butchers selling pork doesnt bother me..nor dus it bother me wen i go 2 the pub/bar (where i DONT drink alcohol) and sit with people that are drinking and eating meat/pork/beef/watever..

so its not really EVERY1 hu has an issue!!!

His sister is less 'disabled' than he is and went to school for a few years but she ended up failing almost all of her classes so she was eventually taken out of the school system.

i wonder if theres any kind of 'special schooling' in poland??? maybe schools that are specifically for children with learning disabilities??? or even one2one teaching in a normal school..?

Ive seen with my own eyes the pointing and giggling and wide bearths given in a so called "civilised" city in Poland by the complete spectrum of Poles,young and old.

this still happens in the UK..and we are supposed to be a civilised country!! some people have no decency..!

yup. we have institutions to help them with their issues

they shudnt be in institutions..they are still people like you and me..!! they should a part of the community with the help and support they need.. mind you it took a long time for institutions to close in the UK..hopefully other countries will follow!!

I know EXACTLY what you mean. You've made only 13 posts, but it's clear that you weren't *really* looking for advice on Polish learning disabled people, you're just looking for another way of spreading your Islamic agenda.

im sorry SouthOfDaThames that u hve some SERIOUS issues against islam and im not gonna argue with that coz u have a ryt 2 ur opinion..but can i jus say i came across this forum pretty randomly thru google..and it was initially 2 find people with learning difficulties as that is my research project. HOWEVER, i got readin some of the topics and found them pretty intrestin..neva did i think that a huge debate about islam wud be on a polish forum!!!

n no i dont intend on spreading nethng..thats not the kinda person i am..wat u do, hu u believe in and ur opinions r all up2u..

by saying that i felt like i already knew people was me saying that people in this forum were friendly..u seemed 2 b 1 of them but im not so sure now..

whereas the women are supposed to stay at home and look after the house and family.

this is not always true..women ARE allowed to go out and work.. but i know where ur coming from..ur arguemnet makes sense..it could be a mixture of these things..

hmmm......well wen the child grows up im sure he/she wud like to kno he their proper father is and that wudnt be possible..dus that make sense??? 2share responsibilty of the child when they are younger is easier tahn wen the child has grown up and wants 2 know which 1 of them 4 men is their father!!!

walaikum salaam :)

im not gona lie n say im a devout muslim coz no im not..n 2 b honest i dont think the majority of the younger generation do follow islam by the book..there are so many things that as a muslim we are not allowed to do..eg drinking alcohol and goin clubbing etc..and as uv stated correctly Arise_St_George many people still do this..

i dont go clubbin nor do i drink or sleep around etc and thats coz there are so many other things that i do which are against my religion id like to keep a limit on things.. i mean i dont even like goin clubbin (n yes iv bin 1ce so i do kno wat its like)..

oh i knew that wud b the next question..lol..well coz say if i had 4 husbands n i slept with all of dem n then i got pregnant i wudnt kno hu the father was..n so 2 avoid conflict between husbands n families etc women are only allowed 1 husband but a man is allowed 4 wives.. :)

ohmygod!! wat is goin on here??? the qoutes from the quran cannot be used on their own..they are all out of context!!! yes thats wat it sez in the Quran but it also says that muslims should not go 2 war unless war is declared on islam bu others!!! r u trying 2 tell me that if someone decided 2 have a fight with you u wud just stand there and get battered???!!! no u bloody well wudnt!!!

and the 4 wives thng..well in islam yes u are allowed 4 wives..n not necessarily if the 1st wife is sick..HOWEVER, the 1st wife should agree 4 her husband 2 have another wife and he should spend the same amount of money,time etc with all of his wives. so that they are all treated equally.

i sooo understand where you guys are coming from about the whole terrorist thng and families killing daughters etc but not all muslims are like that..uv jus read stories of the minorities..these are stories of a few muslims out of around 1.1-1.8 billion muslims around the world..!

hi guys im quite new here.. im from the uk and am doing a project on accessible information for polish people who have learning difficulties. BUT im finding it hard to find groups or organizations who help polish people with learning difficulties..

can other polish people help me by telling me of any places they know that help polish people with learning difficulties???
