You can't generalise. What you see in England is a certain social group (again, I'm not talking about ALL Poles in the UK) - uneducated, desperate to earn money to support their families etc. etc. You can't say 100% of Poles are like that.

I've started my job not so long ago and I already earn decent money. No need to look for it in England!

I don't know... I travel 2nd class and it's pretty ok - neat and nice.


There are no stops but the train is slow due to the terrible state of the rails... :/ Some repairs have started but it's a long way off till the train can reach proper speed there...

You're right, I was thinking about the Intercity train - it does stop several times but only in Warsaw and Gdańsk - no stops in between (from what I remember).


It's longer now (because of the repairs)... And you can't say it's not slow!! In a civilised country you need about 2 hrs to cover such a distance. 4 hrs is way too long!!

If this helps you, Poland isn't better either. A few years ago there was a case of a married couple who murdered their children and kept their bodies in barrels (there were 4 or 5 of them if I remember correctly...).

You can't accuse all Austrians or Germans of being monsters just because a few random citizens of these particular countries committed horrifying and unimaginable crimes. Again, it's the problem of the human kind, nationality has nothing to do with it.

What I can't understand is that there are still so many places when smokers can legally pose a threat to my health and bear no consequences! I'd have to think about it. What I had in mind was that forcing me to inhale carcinogenic smoke is equally dangerous as poisoning me or beating me up, which is normally punishable.

It's actually the other way round (at least that's what I've been taught).
Polish is so complex because it's way behind most of modern European languages in terms of evolution, which naturally leads to simplifying the rules, losing case endings etc. etc.
