Life / Poems for Poland. [41]

And yet it seems to have filled your writing to the core with ripeness in that sweet kernel of a line. :)

I enjoy fancy language but it has nothing to do with poetry.

Make sure you read some Keats dear Jova

I have just graduated from so called "filologia angielska", thus, solely for that reason, you can be more than sure I have read loads of Keats, Pope, Gray, Wordsworth et al. However, I've not been converted to a poetry lover... Seems I'm insolently stubborn.

Are my poems that bad :( ?

I've never been an expert on poetry. I've never liked poetry, actually...
Dunno if your poems are bad, they're just pompous to the limit ;)

"Englishmen, you're all so fuc*ing pompous, and none of you have got any balls. "

I know the majority of you are not English here but this quote sprang up in my mind the minute I read your poems :) hahaha

I'm not trying to accuse you of having no balls though... But you are extremely pompous indeed :D

Love / I'm a turkish guy who thinks that polish girls are slutty [113]

your mum told me your father had a tiny penis

Boo-hoo! Such an insult... I won't survive! Did she tell you this in order to console you? I bet a small penis syndrome can ruin a life... But goats aren't that demanding, are they? ;)

they are interested about their dicks.

No wonder! Anyone would be interested in the only body part you can't see without a magnifying glass! :D

I'll provide a donkey if you let me film it.

I'd rather keep it private but thanks for your concern ;)

no, you pay farmers to have sex with their donkeys

Phew! The truth about me has just been disclosed!
Anyway... I'd still prefer to have sex with a donkey than with you ;)

Life / "K*rwa"-why do young Poles find this word so cool ? [67]

I don't use foul language a lot but when I'm pissed off the word 'kurwa' comes in handy... and brings huge relief ;)

Once I went skiing with English-speaking people. I'm not extremely good at skiing and they were rather experienced so I had substantial difficulty keeping up... I tried using the 'f' word every now and then but it was only when I uttered the word 'kurwa' (stressing the 'r' sound) that I managed to feel the difference :D

Genealogy / Do I look Polish? (Part II -- Much more detail than other topic) [109]

Oops, first of all I wanted to write white Caucasian... (wrong spelling).

Secondly, southern, I'm not trying to deny the obvious fact that European people are different. I was just pointing out the lack of logic in trying to specify how Polish noses or eyes look like. Polish people have all kinds of noses and all kinds of eyes (well, apart from the slanting ones) and saying "You've got a Polish nose" or "Your eyes look typically Polish" is nonsense!

Eyes,nose polish,the rest is not.

Oh come on!!! If I take a look at a few of my Polish friends the only thing I'm going to notice is that they all have completely different noses and eyes (all shapes and colours!!!). How can you possibly say "this is a Polish nose" or "these are Polish eyes"?? This is nonsense!!!

Judging from the pics, I'd say you look white Causasian and nothing more!

Polonia / anyone been to St Petersburg? [51]

Next time we're wainting for you in Moscow to feel the difference

I've already been to Moscow. I didn't manage to 'feel the difference' though because I spent only a couple of days there.

Did you manage to see "belie nochi" (so-called "white nights")?

Not this year. But I visited St. Petersburg last year as well and managed to see the white nights then... :)

Polonia / anyone been to St Petersburg? [51]

i've heard it is expensive and really hard to get a Permit to enter the country

It's not as easy as with the EU countries, but it's not really hard. It wasn't that difficult for me... I just needed an invitation from the company that organised my stay there and the visa wasn't very expensive.

some nice photo's there :) i can assume you did not take them yourself?? or am i wrong

Arghh you're not the first one to assume the photos aren't mine! I just wonder why... Do I look like an unskilled photographer? :P

I did take them myself. What's more, I did it using a fairly sh!tty camera ;))
Seems I'm just talented :P hahaha

Are you from St. Petersburg, Sasha?

The people were really nice, helpful, open and friendly.
Too many guys on the pull though haha ;)

Language / Bezele and Ciapaci [30]

it was just a comedy trio and the word didnt mean anything.

I'd answer the same if sb asked me this question. The word is known thanks to the song but I don't think it means anything on its own. It certainly hasn't become a part of everyday slang vocab.

I dont think the word chapati is a very nice one !

Yep, I'd say it's rather derogatory.
