Work / Six-figure USD income doing business in Poland... Possible? [44]
Well, every sql admin in polish telecom companies like era, plus earn over 10k, friend of mine is working for microsoft in warsaw and earns about 15k (c#/vb programmer), another one is network admin and had 15k monthly but he's in Ireland now. both guys are 29 years old and I know many better it workers.

IT specialist can earn about 15k - 30 k pln/month (sql database admin) or to 50k monthly (senior visual studio programmer) in for example microsoft warsaw.
many of it specialists (not script kiddies!) can earn about 100 pln/hour.
but why should you move from USA to work in Poland in... American company? that's just stupid. and costs of life are... lower in the usa! ;o

Life / Do Poles Lead a Healthy Lifestyle? [15]
Many of us smoke (blah!), 99,9% drink too much (blah!) and about 60% belongs to christian-fanatics. we do not have swimming pools even in cities with 200k citizens, i've never seen a jogging person before and when we go to gym we usually take russian/bulgarian steroids.
yeah our lifestyle is so fkc healthy.

Life / Cigarette Smoking in Poland [146]
You can't even go to club/pub in Poland because all of them are full of smoke... I'm an asthmatic so it's just literally killing me. But smokers don't care. Why should they care about my lungs condition when they don't care about their? lol.
so fckd up country I really really really hope that someday somebody will drop really big bomb here, because 80% of ppl here don't deserve to life.

Life / Can you have guns in Poland? [25]
It's really, really hard to have a gun permission in Poland.
BUT it's pretty easy to buy Glock or even AK-47 so we don't have weapons but criminals do. And our police sux (average time of waiting for them is about 2 hours) so u better run fast.
