UK, Ireland / Need a job for my husband in Scotland or UK [8]

Take no notice of him Honorata

Unfortunatley there are two very offensive brits on here, we just ignore them.

Are you certain you want to come to the UK at this time?

I ask the question because we are about to enter in to the one of the biggest ressions for a long time.

This means work is very uncertain even for us Brits, and further to this the amount of money one can now command for a job is at it's lowest ever rate. Coupled with house prices including rental being at it's highest it has ever been.

Prospects are not good at this time, especially if spoken English is not so good.

Having said that a locksmith is a good trade and is in demand here, however most work for themselves and run their own businesses.

Not sure what the pay might be for an employee.

Are you coming also or is it just your husband?

My advise would be get the job first then look for the accomadatiion, as the work will dictate where you live.

The south of England is better for work than the north however the accomdation costs are much more.

Self contained accomidation for the both of you could be as much as between 650-850 stirling per month.

I do know Poles who work and live here as couples and can bearly make ends meet even though the husband has a good paying job and the wife has two jobs, workig unsociable hours, they never see each other.

The next two years will be even harder for all in the UK the the last two.

I am not trying to put you off, just painting a realistic picture.

Kind regards

Lynda.

Well actually we did, ever heard of India being part of the British Empire?

Why do you think so many are here now and are on the whole welcome?

Another racist bites the dust!!!!!!!!!!!

Pleae guys, do you actually know your history, or isit a case you would rather reinvent it to suit yourselves????????????????

The Poles and yes the czech'sand others helped us in the war AFTER they had lost everything to Germany, but hey what do I know??????????

My point is we should be living a world where all are equal regardless of country of origin, and I believe that is a far more corageuos challange to strive towards than trying to put each other down because of our colour or natioanality, war is something that simply does not belong in modern day culture, as descrimination and bigotry, none belong.

We should be accepting the society we live in today and helping each other to overcome the challanges it brings. TOGETHER AS HUMAN BEINGS

Lets not forget the polish fought for us in spitfires in the Battle of BRITAIN!!!

Or does that not count for something?

Ther is absolutly no reason why everyone in this country and all countries in the civilised world should not be paid a decent wage for a decent days work and all be treated EQUALLY!!

I would be grateful if you have a reply to this keep it on the open forum, I do not want anymore of your filth in my private message box thank you.

Regards.

UK, Ireland / Surrey - 2 bedrooms for Polish youngsters [12]

Yes I do my sister lived near there before she died and my dad had a veg shop there for a few years.

Do you know this joker who is sending me horid messages since I posted this? lennydavies2004@yahoo.co.uk

This is what he sent me "you know poles actually have put over 1.1 million brits out of work since 2004 and your just happy to support them and your british ,shame on you just shame on you"

I sent him a message back to say he was sad.

What I can not understand is why if he hates the poles soooooooo much why is he even looking at this site??????

Anyway at least I do not hate the poles, or any others to be frank, we all have a valuable contribution to make society, regardless of where that might be or indeed where we come from.

I have had people from Belgium, France, Japan, Italy, Spain, and Saudi stay in my house and I have welcomed them all as I have an interest in people from other countries and cultures, and will always treat poeple as that, human beings and anyone who can not do this to mind is crazy, so if anyone else wants to abuse me by mail for my acceptance of the human race, please do not waste your time, bigots have no say as far as I am concerned.

Tell me Michal did you enjoy your stay in the UK? What bits did you like best?

Kind regards

Lynda

Yea from where we are you can get a train from "Byfleet & New Haw" station which is 15 mins walk away, to Waterloo that takes around 40 mins, or you can walk the same distance, but along the Canal in the oposite direction, takes much longer by road to walk though and going one station away from London, the benefit is you can get the fast train that takes on 20 mins, and they are every half hour instead of every hour.

When did you come to UK and where did you stay and did you enjoy it?

Kind regards

Lynda

UK, Ireland / Surrey - 2 bedrooms for Polish youngsters [12]

Hello

My partner and I live in Surrey. This area is a very popular for Polish youngsters to visit to explore if working in the uk is a good option for for them, situated equal distance between Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Our 23 year old daughter has moved to central London and we have a really nice double room to rent for 3-6 months, maybe longer.

The house is small, 2 bedrooms but the room to let has its own private bathroom. The kitchen is modern with diswasher, washing machine tumble dryer, we have sky TV and wireless internet connection.

This would suit either a single female or a couple. The rent is very reasonable.

If you or a friend are looking for your first step on the UK ladder this situation is ideal.

All interested please mail to lynda_wilcox@hotmail
