UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

hi
i have to agree with my friend sarah about polish ppl working really hard if only half the ppl in england would work as hard as they do maybe them there would not be so many ppl on beneifts.

Wrong, i have worked with polish people and found them to be as bad as the english

us brits are being treated like second class citizens ,and all the hard work our fathers ,grandfathers did like fighting for better employment rights is being taken away because the poles will work for half the price .

Got to agree with this, the company i worked for was 75% polish towards the end and they were favoured more by the company.

It's not their fault Poland has high unemployment.

Its not ours either but since all the polish started coming in there is nothing for the british, i am currently unemployed after being laid off due to the polish being favoured and the trouble i have had finding another job is horrible.

It's always easy to blame someone else for the fact that you are a pleb and can't get off your arse to get a job

I am not a pleb and take offence at your view of people who are frinding it hard to get a job due to the influx of polish arriving.

No offence but enough is enough, there are way to many turning up in the uk.

Not making excuses at all, it was proven on TV that the agencys favour the polish.

My qualifications are none of your business and yes i am trying hard enough, i am not using the poles as an excuse to find a job at all.

Why the hell would i use excuses not to work when i have 2 kids to feed, i have never been one for sitting on my arse at home and before the poles turned up finding a job was a lot easier (you could walk into an agency and be put to work).

If i could link to it i would.

I dont claim benefits since my other half also works and would not want to.

I assume you are saying that i am not the right candidate for a job?

Why cant they just go home and let the UK get back to normal.
