Hi.

I need help from all the people that has been deeply in love with somebody. It doesn't matter if he or she was Polish.

I live in the United States, but I'm from Mexico. My legal status in the US is currently not good, you know what I mean. I met a Polish girl while she came for a holiday. We felt in love with each other. We stayed togheter for like 5 months, but they felt like years. She was here on a tourist visa. When she left we decided to try to be together. It's been more than one year since she left, and I can't wait any longer I want to be with her. I'm 26 years old, She is 36 she's living and working in England. I graduated from Hihg School here in the United States, but because my lack of documents I couldn't go to college. I need advise. what can I do. I was thinking go to poland marry her, wait a couple years and maybe I can study and work over there. I was reading another message where the guy said you could get married in England and become polish resident. I don't have any knoledge about this, nor expirience My girlfrend neither. Porfavor ayudenme. Please help me. People tell me to forget about her, but I just don't see me living without her. Any advise and support will be greatly appreciated.

thank you szarlotka and shapphire. She is willing to leave London. I was thinking that if I go to Poland and marry her there, you said that after couple years I could get residency, right? I'm willing to risk everything to be with her, and just wanted to get advice from people that know more about it. Eventhough it's hard, what would you think would be the best bet, even if risky? When you said I would stand a better chance to marry her here? You mean Poland?

Yes, I'm sorry I didn't choose to be illegal. I consider US my country, I've been living here since I was a kid. I don't want to talk about that because not many people understand, because they haven't been in the situation, and I hope they never will, because is a living hell.

Yes wroclaw, I have been in contact with her ever since she left. We don't have to go to UK, I just need advice on what would be the best way to be with her. I don't know, go to Poland marry her there, wait a couple years while I get residency, I don't know, like I said I need advice from people that is real, that understands the feeling of loving someone who is far away, and you want to do something but you don't know how to. No maybe you don't understand. I have nothing to do in Mexico. I feel proud of my roots, but all my family is here in the US. I have built my life Here. I don't have a life in Mexico. I don't want to go to UK for Green card. I love this woman, it doesn't matter if she lives in Spain, Russia, or in the moon, I don't care. I would prefer to be an illegal all my life than using somebody to get a green card.

I really don't want to bother anyone! I apologize to you sledz. If I ever go to Poland of UK I'm going to do it the right way. I didn't come here illigaly. I'm not a wetback. I'm looking for advice to go to my girlfriend. I don't want to be the reason for you all to start arguing or being offensive to each other.

Ok. Of course I would have to go back to my country and issue a visa to go to Poland if required. The same to go to England. I know that I won't be able to come back to the US. I'm willing to take that risk. My brothers are legal, and I have an application for residency here, but it is a 13 year wait. Thank you shewolf because that's exactly what happend I was following my parents. I didn't really know what we were doing. Everybody is focusing in my legal status in this country, but what I really want to know is what is the best way to be with my girlfriend. I know that you are not laywers, but maybe you know more from experience. Like how long would it take to get residency in Poland if I marry my girlfriend there? would I be able to work? stuff like that.

I'm Mexican, currently in school. Legal status in United States is in Process and might take years. I did some research and I found out that Mexicans don't need a visa to visit Poland. I might be wrong. Maybe the page that I found was mistaken. Of course, I would have to go to Mexico first, and go to Poland from there. I can't do that from here (US) since I'm not a citizen. I'm still researching to see once in Poland what are my chances of going to school and work at the sime time. Any comment?


No I can't. My sister and brother are legal residents. My sister is in process of becoming a citizen. Once she is a citizen she can apply to make my parents and I legal residents. My parents would get their residency in less than 2 years. ME? It would take 13 years get resedency. I can't wait that long. What I know is that she can apply for me even If I'm living in another country.

If I ever go to Poland, it will be in a legal way. Sometimes you don't choose the way things happen. Circumstances make you take extrem decisions. I was brought here when I was a kid. My parents chose for me. If I could fix my situation believe me everybody I would do it.

Yes I need a visa to the UK. I might not need one for Poland though. Yeah I know it won't be easy but I can't stay here and see what happens I need to try something, at least try
