Grass and it's colour. I travelled to Poland in 1992 and I thought it was great, this was a long time before all the good changes happened - like 24 hour petrol stations, large hyper markets and shopping malls, restuarants with food, pubs with well dressed people.. this was before Poland was in the EU and had MUCH higher unemployment. Now people have choice and the possibility f getting employment and jobs in the rest of Europe.. so why are some Polish people not happy??

I moved to Poland 14 years ago, I knew no Polish. I escaped the British cloistered nanny state that doesn't allow anyone to do anything. I also have my own Polish business here, own land, own house, married, divorced, remarried, kids.. normal good life :-)..

it is a good placeto be and experience freedom (as long as it lasts - before it becomes like USA and UK).

I trry to beg Polish people to fight against the pitfalls that USA and UK have got both feet stuck in.

Life / Wedding procedures for foreigner in Poland [30]

I have no idea why people are so unkind or suspicious. I am a foreigner and I have been married in Poland twice. I will try to offer you some advice to the best of my knowledge. Sometimes the advice may be slightly different upon your circumstances so I will try to quote fact based on Polish law.

1. You must produce a document from your country OR your Embassy in Poland that you have no impediment to marriage.
2, This document (if from your own country) must be translated by a Certified Court Translator.
3. If this document is provided by an Embassy in Poland (Warsaw) it will be in dual language- however, you must be considered living within the jurisdiction of the Embassy for at least 21 days

4. To be married anywhere in Poland, you must book/register the marriage and be able to turn up to the "booking office" to declare that you are able to be married - and if you cannot understand Polish fluently, you will have to state you need a translator (very funny because they ask you this in Polish :-))

It takes time to get married - if you plan to do it - and you know your circumstances are not quite standard - allow at least 3 months to get the arrangements in order.

YOU CAN GET ON A PLANE FOR 50 EUROS RETURN FLIGHT DIRECT TO POLAND - (KRAKOW OR POZNAN) AND SEE WHAT IT IS LIKE -CHEAPER THAN YOU CAN GET A TAXI DOWN TO THE LOCAL PUB-RUSH DOWN A FEW PINTS BEFORE ANAL CLOSING TIME OR GETTING A BRITISH CURRY FROM A CHINESE SHOP !!!..

I left England because England is rubbish - 20 years ago, and now it is worse. I went to Poland because they have nice mountains and countryside, people don't get pissed up to throwing up point like fat slags in Nottingham.. because places are open all the time and they don't put spotty gits behind the bar that tell you to **** off once they have taken all your money.

England is not a nice place.. so don't insult other countries. You can make comment on other countries and cultures once you have visited or lived in the other country- until then .. stay in your box.. this is what the government wants.

lets be more accurate..

NIP is a VAT number. To get a NIP you have to have a business.

NIP is not related to residency or PESEL

You can have a NIP without a PESEL

You can have residency without a PESEL

The NIP must be the RIGHT NIP, EU registered or NOT, it is illegal what Poland does with the NIP/VAT number
