Life / Indian moved to Poland [532]

I lived in Sweden and never saw one Swedish girl fall for a Southern Asian man, let alone Indian (yes, Pakis outdo us in getting European wives, its true). No offences to their choices, but what exactly do Polish girls like in Indian men?

(Polish girls and Indian men with Polish wives...lend your voice ;o) )

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH POLISH WOMEN AND INDIAN MEN?????????
well!! well!!!.i dont know if u are trying to be scarcastic ...or be rude.i am not sure????

Europe has always been a closed continent for people from Asia with the exception of England., the trend is chaNginig off lately though.

One needs to look at countries like America, Canada or Australia where u sall see people from different ethenic backgrounds married to each other and leading a very happy life. I guess its the person that matters in a relationship not the country or religion. You need to look around and see,i know many Swedish girls married to Japanese,Indian and Maori Islanders from Newzeland. No offence meant but.......... its all about ones choice without being a RACIST.

UK, Ireland / Getting married to a Polish Citizen in the UK [371]

hi rocky!!!
Reference to your question regarding your immigration to Poland, after u got married in cyprus.well!!!! thats a tircky one.first of all ......r u an indian citizen,if so u need to get a document from Indian goverment that u r an indian and have never got married before according to indian law.In other word what hey mean is to produce a document that u have never married before. They 2 kinds of wedding in Poland, first being the church wedding, the other being the goverment one. Ihave gone through the whole process my self.....as i got married in Poland but now live in Australia. If u have already got married in cyprus according to the law of cyprus, you have to produce your marriage certificate to the polish consulate so that they can work on your stay permit in poland. It is a very long process......do feel free to write me if u have any specific questions.

It is very refreshing to know that so many Polish girls are married to people from different reces.. . Polish girls are really beautiful and make excellent wifes as i am married to one...........

Had the pleasure of getting married twice with the same person, in two different countries one in India and one in Poland.....all i can say its been a great experience.......but now we have setteled down in Australia. I would definitely say that Polish people have a very strong family binding, so if you want the best of east and west........get urself a polish partner......they will be ur friend for a life time.

UK, Ireland / Getting married to a Polish Citizen in the UK [371]

hello sir, i just would like to ask you a question as i am in a simular situation.

Hello there !!!

The very first thing i need to know is do u want a church wedding or r u just happy with a simple CIVIL ceremony which is apporoved by the Poish Goverment ( but not by the church).

By the way i am not muslim,i am hindu.....so i never had the problem of asking my wife to convert. We both follow our own religion

It was my own desire that i get married in the church that also in Poland. I had 3 sittings
with a Catholic priest in Australia. Had to sign an undertaking that i shall allow my wife to follow her religion and my children will have the freedom to choose their religion. I guess its a bit tricky in that aspect but its been worth it. Our's was a church wedding ceremony which took place in Lublin and i loved every mnute of it.

But if u don't want any of this hassel and just want a civil ceremony then u need to get a document from your goverment stating that u r a citizen of that country and have never been married before, sign stamped and sealed.

I dont want to confuse you with too much info.........do ask me specific questions or emaiL me. I will definitely like to help you out.

(ps:please dont call me Sir, my name is Amit...whats urs????)

Regards AMIT

Life / Indian moved to Poland [532]

I am posting in this message to share all your views in terms of settling in Poland for people outside Europe. I can see there are a lot of people from the subcontinent in here discussing their issues. All I want to ask them…. is how they feel an outsider fits in to a different culture of Poland. I am an Australian with Indian background, and have been to Poland many times, as a matter of fact just came back from Poland a couple of weeks back. To be honest this trip was a bit disappointing for me in terms of the life style and the cost of living that Poland offers to its People. Even though it is EU, I still find the overall cost of living very high for the amount people earn in there. Please don’t get me wrong here, I love Poland. It’s a gr8 place to holiday but to settle in there for good scares the hell out of me. My better half is from Poland and wants me to pack my bags and move in there in a couple of years or at least close to Europe. Please do put in your outlook and comments in this matter in terms of professional life, work culture and overall lifestyle in Poland and how conducive is it for an outsider to settle in there and how open the job market is it in Poland. All I could see is…… Warsaw is the only place happening professionally and could see couple of foreign nationals doing well in there. Your comments and view point will be deeply appreciated.

Cheers
Amit

Life / polish-indian couple looking for baby names [28]

Hi! Everybody!!!!
Good to see that people have the same problem like us. We were just blessed with a baby girl, and we could only shortlist 2 names for our baby girl which fits both our culture. Although she will get my Indian last name but we came to a decision to name her Maja (Polish version) and Maya (Indian version)...... the name Anita was also in the back of our mind but eventually Muja won. I do understand your dilemma, as we had our share too regarding the name but thanks god we could settle it though.

Hello Everybody!!!....
It’s good to see so many of you guys in here. I just would like to ask you a quick question in terms of how popular do you think Indian cuisine is in Poland. Do you think the locals have the palate to take the species? I used to be a hospitality (kitchen) working Taj and Oberoi's in India but eventually moved out of the kitchen to IT and settled down in Aus. My wife is just asking me all the time to set up an Indian Fast food outlet in Poland where we can promote fusion Indian cuisine which is the in thing in the western world. I have been to Poland many times but accept Warsaw I did not see many Indian eating joints unlike England or even like in Australia

Living in Poland is not a problem for me in terms of visa requirement as I just can pack my bags and move there for good anytime. But the million dollar question is it worth it?????

It would be deeply appreciated if you guys can kindly give me a feedback.

I shall look forward to hear from you guys soon.

Cheers

The quicker you open a place in Wroclaw the better

Thank you for your feedback.......but I would like to know more in terms of how is Indian food is perceived in Poland. I am looking for an Indian fast food concept to be introduced in Poland. This includes many fushion dishes. The only concern is how the species will fit into the palate of a local Polish. I have seen many of my friends in Poland crying when I cooked for them as they found the food very spicy. Please put in more lines in terms of your of what kind of dishes have you tasted and what do you enjoy the most about Indian cuisine along with that please also list the cities you think is going to accept this concept. One more thing… I also wanted to ask you guys….have you heard or tasted many about Indian BBQ dishes and if so.. which is your favorite one? ? Trust me your feedback will make a lot of difference.... Please write back…as I shall look forward to hear from you all

Till then my friends, take Care
Cheers
