Travel / Cheap place for staying two weeks in Warsaw ? [7]

I'm going to stay two weeks in Warsaw and I'm looking for a cheap place for the nights. As a foreigner I don't really know where to start. Anyone with some links and advices (and some prices scales) would help me a lot !

I just read your message and maybe because I'm not so used to all that things related to poland as other writers seems to be, I've been quite moved by your feelings for her.

If you know where she was working, you may ask them some informations don't you think ?If she was so important for you, you shouldn't let her disappear from your life easily. Losing hope and being desperate is the easiest reaction, you should do whatever you can to find her.

I would not hound her anyway as I am no stalker

Why not ? Imagine that you are at a crossroad and that you would be sure of meeting her and being happy with her if you were doing those efforts for searching her, would you do it ? I'm sure that you wouldn't have those scrupules and you wouldn't choose to take the other road alone... So the only reason that keep you from taking it is the fact that you are not sure of the result of your researches ! You are too pessimistic, believe that you will succeed and you will raise your chances ! And forget that misplaced ethic, you just want to find her for talking to her, if she don't want after all your researches then leave her alone, but she would lose someone good :)

MOVE ON! Im not moved by his post, in fact I think he sounds pretty stupid!

Well, why everytime someone is telling how he feel about love it have to sound stupid ? She was maybe really great, and loveable who know ? I agree that this place is not the best one to express his love for advices as I find that so much people here are quite cynical.

DPA (Data Protection Act) prohibits this, would you like someone giving your personal details out?

I don't know your law and customs as I'm not english but if someone with the same story was asking me to contact one of my colleague and that I was judging him serious, I would ask him to give me his address and I would contact my colleague to tell him that someone was asking him.

If it was me, if person is married and have family in Europe or other states. Don't waste your time thinking this person will leave their familiy for you. You should leave them alone and find single person.

I completely agree with you on that subject and he would have asked us how to seduce her while she love someone else, I wouldn't have answered him but he said that :

She said she wanted to leave her boyfriend.

Whatever, if he really love her, he should try to find her.What will happen after he will find her is another story. If she want to stay with her boyfriend and not with him he will know it and never regret all his life his lack of action.

History / Why are we called Poles instead of Polans? [29]

So, you think you can complain or wonder. Wonder how it must be to be a citizen of your own country, but abroad being named as citizen of your neighbouring country!

In french we call you "Hollandais". I just discovered that we shouldn't by reading the wikipedia link ! :) So "Hollande" is only a part of the Netherland (that we call "Pays-bas")? According to wikipedia, we should call you Néerlandais (that's rather close).

We call Poles "Polonais" and Poland "Pologne". I find ironic that calling a Pole "Polak" in french is an insult as in english... Someone know why that happened ?
