Genealogy / I have got alot of Polish DNA [51]
The poles belong to the Haplogroup R1A. The poles and most other eastern Europeans share a significant amount of their DNA with Turks, kazakhs, afghans and indians, whom all belong to the R1A Haplogroup.
Western/northern europeans like myself belong to the R1B Haplotype, which is exclusive to this part of europe.
This shows that not only is there a historical, linguistic, cultural and political division between eastern and western europe. But there is a significant Genetic differance between western and eastern europeans
