UK, Ireland / What exactly is the process to get into the UK? [44]

I want to reside and work there a time after I finish college, a few personal reasons, but I've no idea on how this works. I was relocated from Europe when I was very young, so I hadn't really traveled much. Can anyone spare any tips or resources? Yes, seems a little off, but I'm really serious about this...

I am a Polish citizen, and I've none citizenship where I am... I have another year of college and I really want to leave this place a while after I'm through. I just thought I'd ask a few if they would help provide some information on the matter, what arrangements are to be made.. I don't intend to relocated unprepared, if that was what most of you thought..

Sooo, I'm to understand that all I need to do is bring myself there are none else?

Life / Japanese bands that are popular in Poland. [26]

A band that comes to mind that has performed in the country is Eve of Destiny.. and I have heard that there are VK shows in Poland. I wonder if any bands achieved any status there.

Travel / Is Poland mostly plains? [57]

I looked at a few pictures of various places including the area I was born in and see grass, grass, grass, and more grass. Urban areas aside, do these kinds of places compose most Poland?

I lived in a small village when I was young that was also situated in the heart of some plains... there was only this one forest that my Grandfather and I used pick shrooms in..

Travel / Is Poland mostly plains? [57]

Yes.. I do not by any means see plains as a terrible thing.... except during the night time.. when the stars are bared (personal phobia).. I sometimes think back to when I lived amongst the peasants and ventured alone cross these plains and small forests and wish for a chance to experience them again.. You don't know how precious a moment is til it's long past... ow

I'm talking about the peasants, country side dwelling people, living and working in the village, not about any of the surrounding fauna...

Life / Do Poles do hand shaking EVERY TIME they see friends? [30]

I hate shaking hands... you don't know where the hand has been! The person could have been rubbing one off a time before offering the handshake and hadn't washed his hands... or even worse scenarios..

Love / Why are Polish girls so emotional [16]

My mother sure was like that.. She'd cry over small things... then my dad would bash my face in..
