Love / I like this Polish girl, but she doesn't get my... English sense of humor [124]

Hi, I'm British, theres a Polish girl I like and she seems to like me, so no problem there, but I don't think she gets my English sense of humor. Sometimes I make a joke and she thinks I am serious!

I used to have a girlfriend for sometime from Latvia and she was the same, it was hard to make her laugh!

Is there a difference in the humor? I would like to be able to make her laugh!
