Love / POLISH CIVIL CEREMONIES TRADITIONS AND TIMELINE [8]

Merged: Civil Wedding in Poland - what should a bride wear?

I'm getting married next month in Gdansk. What do you think should I wear? Do Polish girls just wear ordinary dresses or like a business suit? Suits are boring and even if it's just a civil wedding, it's still a wedding, isn't it? Yes, it is a civil wedding ceremony.

Girls should at least buy a proper white dress. Back in my country, it is more appropriate to wear something white - a simple white dress "maybe without" the bouquet but definitely not a full-length bridal gown.

Life / Wedding in Poland - my experience [39]

Oh yeah! Slurs and grunts would definitely break the language barrier! Hahaha! All the best!

ha ha! Apparently the extra-strength wedding wodka will help reduce the language barrier...

Love / Polish Wedding Shoes [7]

Well. I think if the Polish family is Catholic, shame on them if they believed in these superstitions. Really! I mean come on, the bride is so damn stressed already and putting a coin in her shoe will only make her even more uncomfortable. Poor brides - no wonder they transform to bride-zillas.
