Yes, that is true. Persian is an ethnic classification, and not all Iranians are Persians.
But in all honesty, I think people use the term Persian because it has a better
connotation at the moment.
This story might be of interest. The Polish Post Office recently issued a stamp acknowledging the role Iran played in saving and caring for Polish refugees during WW2.

My 27 year old cousin is visiting us this weekend. She has been to the obvious places like the uprising museum. Where can I take her that would be fun? She has had a tough time with her job and other stresses back home and needs to have a good time this weekend. Any suggestions?
