allways check connection fees, maintenance fees, and billing interval.
If you call often but short, you will look for low connection fees. If you call 1-2 times a month - look for low maintenance fees. Calls can be rounded to 1 or 3 minutes - sure the 1 minute are the best.

Prepaid calling cards make you independent - you can call from work, from friends home, on the way. You ger the PIN per email. Very convenient:)

Is a great liquor store! Didn't see any polish beer there because of rather strange import regulations. You can enjoy it in Polonia Restaurant on Blalock.

Why??? Look online for a local flower shop in Warsaw and order from there. I do it for many years already, have my favorite flowershop in Gdansk. They do an awesome work and much cheaper than international delivery. You can discuss the current store stock with the owner, make suggestions about the arrangement, the delivery etc. You pretty much would know what are you ordering.

Travel / Will my rented car be stolen or broken into when in Poland? [24]

Nothing ever happend to my rent a car. Rent modest car ( no VW or Audi) .
Park in lighted areas. Keep inside clean, open compartments. Always turn alarm on. Drive with lights on - always! Park in designated areas to avoid tickets and towing, or cap on your tire. Watch for radars and cops , but you get usually warnings from other drivers:) Get diesel - is cheaper:)!
