I believe that that Russians-East and Polish-West are very different.
Russia lost an insane amount of people when they beat Hitler, unfortunately for Poland it was out of the frying pan and in to the fire when Russia took the spoils from Poland. But in a historical context that is what countries do.

I just don't like the way Russia is play a bully with their energy.

Just a quick point on the main topic. I read an artical the other week about how Ukrainians were in sweat shops illegally around Krakow, their passports were taken and threatened that if they did not work long hours for little pay they would be deported.

Ireland has a long history of immigration, there are about 3.5 million Irish people in Ireland and 70 million people outside of Ireland in the world that hold Irish passports. 40 million of them are in America. And it annoyed me how quickly Irish people forgot this and talked down "eastern Europeans".

It seems the same might be happening here?

3 bud light and you're an alcoholic?. You tried prohibition, it didn't work.
I do make the distinction between "use and abuse" for all substances, but it depends on the person and Americans don't appreciate good beer, point in case they don't produce any!

I found that after 800 years of immigration, there are about 3.5 mill Irish in Ireland and 70 mill Irish world wide and that is not even the bad part...

I live in Poland and I really hope Polish people in my country are generally being threated with the same hospitality as I receive here, keeping in mind there are always dopes, such is life, even on this forum.

Outside of Poland, without a doubt. Polish workers do have a good reputation, and I think for professional services such as wedding photography, they're no less trusted than natives.

In Poland however is a different story - many foreigners in Poland have had bad experiences with Polish businesses. In this respect, I'd say that it's partially language barrier and partially "let's rip off the foreign guy" - as well as naivety on the part of the person buying the service.

Ultimately, due diligence is everything.
