Travel / My first 10-day tour to Poland [30]

My son & I are making our first trip in Sept. We are going on a 10 day tour. Does anyone have any opinions on an organized tour? I forgot most of my Polish over the years. Is that going to be a problem. What are the best things to bring back? Other than vodka. Amber, candy? Is there any where to get farmer cheese? The kind my grandmother used to make.

Travel / My first 10-day tour to Poland [30]

We're scheduled to go to Warsaw, Krackow, Zacopane & Czesthowa. I am so happy i can get some farmer cheese. I suppose this is something I can't bring back to AZ? I'm going to check out the amber while I'm there. Are there any places to buy art, prints not the expensive ones. I'd like some pictures of what the old Poland looked like. My grandmother came from places that had thatched roofs. My grandfather came from Stary Szor. Does anyone have any info on that? Sorry I'm rambling..............

I knew someone in NH with the name Doda & they came from Poland.
