Yeh ok whatever mate. I lived in Northern Ireland with my mum and other army wives inside the army barracks. I've been on puma and chinook helicopters. I was about 3 or 4 years old. Smelly jungle? If you wash frequently you won't smell. Whether you shave your arm pits or not if you don't wash you'll stink. I don't shave my armpits and I won't. I'm a man. I always smell good. The secret to that is wash twice daily with soap and shower gel then spray yourself with deoderant.

As for hairy chest, alot of women like it but only in moderation. From the women I've known they hate excessive hair on the chest.

I lived in an army camp in Omagh and was back and forth to Salisbury as that's where the barracks were. You're picking things for the hell of. I'll swear on my mother's life on that if you want me to. Army wives lived in Northern Ireland to be with their loved ones. They were protected by the British army but were restricted to wander as they could have led the IRA to the British base. You've never heard of it because it's a small town. I bet you've not heard of Freckleton or Poulton-Le-Fylde but if you ask anyone in Blackpool and Preston if they've heard of Kirkham & Wesham they will tell you they have and could point you the direction to it. There is no crime here. I've lived here a year and I've not seen anything, not a fight, no vandalism, nothing. Some teenagers knocked on my door the other day and handed my keys that I left in the latch from the night before. It's that kind of a community. Does that happen in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester? Does it ****! The teens would have nicked your keys AND your friggin car! The crime here is lower than average for the UK. Virtually zero. You can check the Fylde Borough council website for statistics. There is alot to do here. There are alot of amateur football teams here for a small community. There are swimming baths, sports facilities, golfing range, the gym, a local football team, Kirkham & Wesham FC that are about to be promoted to the North-West Counties Football League division 1. A local team that are heading to Wembley for the FA Vase cup final. This is a team that used to be a pub team.

You say that the fact Kirkham is better than London or Birmingham is nonsense yet you haven't heard of Kirkham let alone visited? I've visited Birmingham frequently and I've visited London.

Bloody hell, all this over me recommending my community lol. Pretty stupid really.

I live in Kirkham as I keep saying... lol...! It's between Preston and Blackpool. A small, safe, friendly, fun community with some stunning women. Blackpool on the left, Preston on the right and Manchester in the middle. Take your pick to go nightclubbing. There's no fear in my community. Why can't anyone accept that you cannot get any better than Kirkham/Wesham? You should be proud that England have these places! You have an option of a safe community where your children will grow up with respect rather than hang on street corners drinking alcohol, taking drugs, beating bystanders. Working mens club? I'm 22 :)

I lived in Nottingham for 8 years and have never been shot, stabbed, beaten but it's still the gun capital of Britain. The danger is still there. There's still people that fear walking the streets of Nottingham at night. London is even worse for crime.

Birmingham and London ARE s-holes. I've been to Birmingham MANY times. I used to go to Birmingham alot to visit my then girlfriend who lived in West Bromwich. It's a dump. It's worse than Nottingham! There is a prison but not one prisoner has escaped from it since it 1st opened. There's more chance of being robbed, raped, windows smashed, attacked or even seeing a pig fly in a council estate than a prisoner escaping a Kirkham prison. IF the prisoner did escape the prison then he/she wouldn't stay in Kirkham or Wesham as he/she'd be arrested within minutes.


The crime statistics are much higher in a big city than there are in small towns like Kirkham and Wesham. Kirkham and Wesham have virtually ZERO crime. You can walk the streets without feeling uneasy. Big cities such as Nottingham, Manchester, London and Birmingham are crime ridden. I've lived in big cities. I know the difference. I actually live in a decent town with alot of people and alot to do, with 2 cities right next to me. 10 mins west is Blackpool, 10 mins east is Preston. I go to Preston AND Blackpool nightclubbing but I also go drinking in Kirkham.

Just one more thing, make sure your new area has no council estates for the sake of you and your child. Don't let your kid mix with scum. There are many decent villages and towns in the UK but it's just finding them. Don't make the wrong move. Birmingham is the wrong the move, so is Nottingham, so is Manchester and so is London. Keep away from big cities.

There's nothing wrong with this community. I've lived in Nottingham for the past 8 yrs and have found alot of flaws within the black and Asian community which is exactly why I understand how the community feels. We don't want drugs, burglary, violence, rape, abuse etc here. This is a peaceful community and a beautiful place to bring up your children. Despite the community being a very safe community there are a handful of policemen knocking about at nights to keep the community a safe place to live.

Stir things up? I merely described my community. Like it or not, it's the community I live in and it is highly suspicious of non whites. Non whites don't settle here. Alot of people that know Kirkham & Wesham will tell you it's not a suitable place for Asians or blacks to LIVE. Even Asians in Preston will tell you. Visit, yes ok but not to live.

It's a perfect community for a white person, but non-whites won't feel welcome. There have been a few blacks that moved here but moved out within months. They come and go.
