Life / POLISH INSECTS CAN RUIN YOUR LIFE.... [27]

Better safe than sorry, wildrover. I forgot that you live near afforested areas so I might have suggested a tick or something similar. Yeah, don't let it take hold and degenerate. My cousin had ovarian cancer and she delayed getting a check-up. She paid the price with her life. It's very painful to see your cousin die like that, helpless in front of you. You owe it to yourself and others, ma man.

My legs swell up like mini golf balls when an anopheles mosquito bites me. Swines!!

Food / Łowicz BEST JAM EVER [23]

Marketed in Lidl, aha, I'll check that out as we have a Lidl here in Gliwice. Thanks!

Food / Łowicz BEST JAM EVER [23]

Yeah, the one like Plus and Lidl. Some of the local pizza makers are pretty good.

£owicz have a lot of experience making different things, not only jam. Their kociołek is pretty good. They have a fairly large selection of jam. They also have low sodium stuff for people who like that kind of thing.

Classic missing of humour but nevermind, I'm working on you guys. You will rise up above slapstick one day, I'll put my mind to it ;)

Life / Poles using online chats don't say goodbye when going offline! [6]

This is VERY common. Remember, they are not really interested in what you are saying half the time, especially the women I've found. I thought it was only me. Another classic demonstration of their manners.

It's like an impulsive verbal diarrhoea session for them.

Anyway, I will say goodbye to all as it's almost 1am. Goodnight y'all :)

Well, as long as you follow me, I'm not too concerned about fallow ;) ;)

Everyone has fallow periods :(

Life / What's the weather like in Poland? [81]

Yes, well it's the same in Poland at the moment. Outside now? Rain

The flip side is maybe I'll get to breathe tomorrow after 4 days of not managing to do so :)

Food / Łowicz BEST JAM EVER [23]

Aha, there is only one Kaufland there, right? I know where it is. I may do a shop there in the near future as I've heard they do a mean pizza. Us Scots like mean ;) ;)

No jam on the pizza please, not even ketchup.

Food / Łowicz BEST JAM EVER [23]

Vortumnus jam? I live in Silesia and I've never seen it. Probably in Lower Silesia rather than here in Upper Silesia.

With soap and water? Why? I haven't gone down on anyone today :)

Food / Łowicz BEST JAM EVER [23]

This is a top quality jam for sure. One of the best I have tasted, almost as good as my grannies home-made stuff and that's saying something :)

Well worth the money!

Love / What is your opinion on the Polish Ladies in Krakow? [82]

Krakovians have a reputation for being snobby and up themselves, I don't know if it's true. Half truths here and there maybe.

Seriously, you have more options in life than to waste it on selfish, whimpering airheads.

UK, Ireland / Polish meat in English supermarkets? [73]

Haggis is fine but I can't stomach white or black puddings. Good for me as they are heart attacks on a plate.

Love / Difficult Polish girlfriend - how long would you put up with her? My story. [68]

Why do men not lay down groundrules and then let themselves get trodden on? Geez, I'm beginning to believe in those Americans that say affirmative action leads to situations where help is not appreciated and they just want more and more. It's the same with some women. If the guy encourages that kind of behaviour, he's a lot to blame and isn't much of a man by giving more and more. For what? A piece of rump, pff...

UK, Ireland / Polish meat in English supermarkets? [73]

I'd seriously doubt that, Osioł. It's possible but you'd have to really go some ;)

Smalec is lard, Greg. Still, I guess you counted those bacon bitties.

UK, Ireland / Polish meat in English supermarkets? [73]

Yeah, that does seem to be more of an English attitude. Us Scots tend to be more open to foreign food when we travel.

Curry is more popular in Scotland than in England :)
