I got my Masters at 22 in Scotland :) Well, the graduation ceremony was in November and my birthday was on Oct 24. Still, I completed it in September :)

It all hinges on how well you do in your Highers. I didn't fare so well in year 5 of secondary school and did ok in the 6th. I stormed Uni in most subjects.

Most start at 17, those who leave school and go direct to Uni. That's what I did. The Honours year of your Bachelors is your 4th one.

Right on, Torny. At some level, I can accept that religion can divide people. However, I believe that we should really try to understand the faiths of others before we take a position against it. People ask me, what religious denomination do you follow? I am broadly Christian but see the merits in the religion of others when described to me. What we must remember is, there is no definitive proof of the existence of God. So we believe in different Gods, fine, let's leave it at that. Therefore, there is scope for other belief for me. I don't discard what they say and see some logic in Buddhism, for example.

I can not accept that religion will make people guilty by association when there is a general lack of understanding. Also, believe some eminent scholars and authorities when they tell you that gaps should be bridged as the disparities are often not that great. Look for that substantive overlap cuz it's there.

You need some written guarantees from them. To them, you are likely just another service user and they don't see your predicament. Many Polish people aren't renowned for their sympathy in some places. I'm lucky, I encounter really good folks here but that doesn't mean I put the blinkers on.

You need assurances simply. I don't want to generalise about time. Many in the Balkans, especially in Montenegro, are amazingly loose this way. Manjana, manjana (sorry, my Spanish sucks). The Poles were unhappy with this. However, everything is relative. Many here are so frickin slow in shops and service provision. They won't break sweat for you. In Scotland, the job centre is like this but everywhere else is somewhat more efficient and expeditious.

So, be clear and defend your corner!

There are some good ones with cheese but not good for the waistline. There are some foods like that, pleasing on the eye but a big let down.

In Scotland, we are happy to get something for free in our products :) Joking aside, that is a serious matter. I wouldn't blame the shop, more the quality control of the product. Especially in butter which we allow to get softer, that could have been a fatal shard :(
