UK, Ireland / Polish people in UK travelling on holiday. [20]

and neither would you want them.

Not quite true, most of the general public are happy to have them, its only the dodgy people that dont want them.

allowed to enter this country without a passport

Actually if flying with Aer Lingus flights to Ireland you dont need a passport, just photo id and that would be to Southern Ireland not just Northern Ireland.

British government's ID card scheme after all. Who knows?

I think its 2012 they are being introduced, it was supposed to be 2010 but its been put back.

Have a look at one in your free time

Ive seen one, and they are a splendid idea, much better than a passport, all the info one little chip and probably a lot harder to copy...definately the way to go. But thats just my personal opinion.

the brits dont get off their backsides to protest against anything

We do, but as always, no fecker listens or would you prefer us to take to the streets and start rioting?

Love / English Girls according to Polish Guys....... [68]

good for you! as for fertility problems, they can hit at any age these days, diet and life style play a big part! my sister gave birth a few months ago, she's 39 and wait for it, she's a health executive and here's an even bigger surprise, my brother stays at home with the baby and the other kids because his salary was lower than hers! why? because they feel its the best option for the children.

As for being a girls girl whats that got to do with anything, one can be girly without being a slave!

Law / Making proper sausages (ex-pat expers in Poland)? [32]

apparentyly you prefer the 'watery' english ones to the 'bready' irish ones... :D

they got the name in the 1940 / 50is when meat was in short supply, the dont bang anymore! But we (as English) have come to love the term "bangers" By the way there are no cottages in cottage pie :)

finT

You could always buy sausage meat and add the extras, the machines for making sausages are not too expensive and the sausage casings are easy enough to get hold of (an old school friend is a butcher). I got some sausages from Bury market the other week - they had blackpudding in and a hint of mustard another fav of mine is sausages with leak - yummy :))))

A man with taste I see ;-)

I dont understand why English women are labouring under the misapprehension that all Polish men are complete gentlemen and are ready to lay their coats in a puddle...Im sure there are a fair amount of complete sh*ts in Poland....

Us English girl's cannot compete.

Speak for yourself!!

some English girls looks really nice ... I would say exotic ;-)

What you have remember, the English are a mish mash of many different nationalities, whilst I consider myself English, Im of Irish and French decent, so all this bollox about English women this and English women that, we are all different, please dont tell me that every Polish women is a slim blond beauty, because Ive been to Poland 3 times and I know its simply not true...but it doesnt make these girls any lesser than their blond counterparts, people who judge purely on looks are on to a loser every time...

News / Has global warming affected Poland? And in what ways? [73]

It seems to switch from year to year...

In the UK the winters are milder and wetter and have been heading this way for some time - we haven’t really had a "bad" winter for quite a few years, what we have had is floods and more floods.....

But lets face it in general people don’t give a toss, landfills are still expanding and we live in a disposable society where goods have a limited life span...and some countries feel that they are above the law when it comes to pollution

Life / Local Poles taking advantage of foreigners living in Poland [235]

Nah, its only the Yanks they are sus of :)

I can imagine, I wonder how much threrapy the poor guy had to have after your search ;-)

Airpots on the whole are not bad, its just some of the passengers that push and shove....

Airports are a very negative experience in Poland but in my opinion the situation has more to do with the greed of some air companies.

I think you will find that Polish people act the same in the English airports! two of the three times I have travelled to Poland I have had someone pushing and shoving and in one case just "trying" to walk in front of me in the queue - not something I have ever experienced whilst travelling before!

public transportation

this excludes airports then?

in London

Nothing English about London, try a smaller city and you will find a huge difference, as an English person I can honestly say I hate London and find the majority of its commuters rude...

hm i don't know either haha What's that?

Sir Richard Burton was the first person to use the word in English, in his Personal Narrative of a Pilgrimage to El-Medinah and Meccah in 1855: “ ‘Allah! upon Allah! O daughter!’ cry the by-standers, when the obstinate bint of sixty years seizes their hands”.

Bint is a wench....AKA woman who is generally not very classy!

He has nothing else to do, just like the other girl. Both clowns joined the Moron Circus today. Congratulations!! Are we invited to your show? I'd love to watch you morons.

Better to be a clown than part of the freak show! Have you had a shave today?

I read a post about your bf leaving you and going back to Poland...can't say I blame him...escape would be on my mind too.

Blimey the lengths some men go to, to get away from a bint!

I just don't want to mix milk and sh1t cause that gives you milksh1t.. look at it... it sicks my tummy!

and just how the fuk is that a racist comment people say it all time ...

Not something I say all the time T...

I do have friends with dark skin and stuff.

Woohoo get you, you have friends who have dark skin and stuff....

I have my preferences, deal with it

Can't you not deal with it, without being a complete c*nt! Whilst there are lots of white women out there who are not attracted to Black guys for one reason or another - they dont feel the need to bring it to the level you did....its called being a nice person who respects others....maybe you should start to practice that, because even by my standards some of yours and that other bints comments were pretty harsh!

Indeed Shelleys!! I agree with you. My post was about me, my opinion only. Did you notice?

I did - sorry what's the point of your question?

I hope more people like Shelly stand up for that culture.

I'm English :)

The two bints are newbies and not representative of most Polish women who visit this forum, in fact, quite the opposite!

UK, Ireland / Many British have inferiority complex [131]

ShelleyS, eh, u think the UK only has 3 countries? U clearly didn't do constitutional law or geography. The UK is composed of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, therefore 4 countries. Ur equals sign was a bit inaccurate, sorry!!

who the f*ck are you talking to! show me where I wrote that....these newbies are a right bunch of kmiots!

As my penance I shall allow you to call me Latvian

No bad thing - friends of mine have just got back and said the man totty is out of this world :)))

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

Okay, Im not sitting on the fence here, but having read some of the posts, I can see both arguments, but I have to say that Christian teachings to simple people who are told that condoms are 'bad' isnt the greatest thing in the world - but also I dont see how the pope was responsible since the countries with the largest proportion of AIDS suffers are usually where the poor and uneducated come from and access to condoms isnt the easist (I would think) - education was late coming to these places so who is to blame?

Because "having sex with condom is like licking a lollipop through a paper" - as one of them explained it to me.

There are variations on that one Mr M, its down to a woman to say "no", its not only Africans who try to avoid using condoms :(
