Travel / Kraków to Stockholm, Riga, and Helsinki - any suggestions? [19]

There is a ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn. As part of my trip from Lithuania up to Finland, this attracts an extra cost of 60Euro, about 275PLN. If you want to scope out some of the best sights, go to the website of Itaka, the Polish tour organiser we are going through.

It's called Szlak Bursztynowy, the Amber Trail. It includes the capital cities of the four countries and other smaller places. Go to itaka.pl you'll find the details there. We are going by coach so there are designated bus routes.

Aug 24-30 is the duration of my trip.

News / Liga Polskich Rodzin- A worthy option? [56]

I meant their policies, Filios. They represent all manner of sins and that's a tragic irony. They are a laughing stock amongst many here.

Crowie did with his messages.

Anyway, is Maciej also in this party as Roman's son? Has Roman changed his school uniform policy? LOL

LOL. One of the funniest things I have read in a long time. Russia joining NATO with no wink mark :)

Poland has good relations with China. The Japanese like Poland too.

PP, please stay on tack.

OK, I put my hands up. There are plenty other threads for where this discussion is going.

So, how much do resident Poles know about LPR? Let's get back on track.

Those ex-KGB dudes are honing in on property in Montenegro, not Poland.

Poland is in the EU now, NATO too. Where will the threat come from?

Forgive me for saying this but you come across as paranoid. However, that's not a criticism and, to some level, is well placed paranoia. Still, you have to go with the flow and you cannot be ruled by the past.

Comfy island? What's so comfy about it? We abandoned splendid isolation in 1902, Sok :)

Life / What should be done to make life in Poland better and more enjoyable? [94]

I know what you mean, terri. I hate that tone too. Firstly because it isn't meant and, secondly, because it's just a parroted phrase.

In Poland, they just get on with it. I hardly ever go to McD's here as I prefer healthy food but I like their approach.

News / FEINSTEIN NEW us AMBASSADOR TO POLAND [47]

Precisely. Look, if a Polish American had the necessary drive and accompanying skillset, they'd be in the picture too.

Brzezinski worked hard to get himself high up. Pol3, how many Poles are in America?

I agree, SwedishPole. His being Jewish is merely incidental. Shimon Peres was a Polish Jew, what of it? Does that matter, Pol3?

News / I am so proud of Poland [16]

So you have a guy sleeping on your bed beside you. Wow, you have really embraced this togetherness thing, congratulations ;) Are you spreading the love, adrian? ;)

You moved to the US at the age of Poland? Wow, that's a cryptic puzzler to ruminate over. I might move to Scotland at the age of December too, you know, just to see my family ;) ;)

Look, listen up!! Most Poles are indifferent to Jews. Stop muckraking, any anti-Semitic sentiments here are rarely visible and it's people like you who keep dragging the issue up again.

So, I suggest you go back to Samuel Horowitz and keep him warm. Thanks for reading and listening :)
