News / Is the E.U. good for Poland?? [180]

Poland needs a progressive, not a conservative, backward government.

So maybe be more progressive yourself and find a girlfriend.

LOL flat income tax

Yep. 15% PIT and 20% VAT, which in practice mean that vast majority of Poles would pay higher taxes. PO's "liberalism" is BS. In Poland almost 50% of GDP goes through the public sector, which is about the same level like in Germany or France and to make a serious improvement It should be reduced at least by 8-10%. PO won't do that. The main difference between PiS and PO is that the 2nd is "nicer" - will lick ass of commies, Gerries, homos and other freaks, I don't know about you but for me that a big minus.

Besides the problem is not that Kaczyński or even Olejniczak don't know that lower taxes would be better for economy, the problem is that unfortunately most of Poles are economically rather socialistic, so I prefer 4 more years of "Solidarna Polska" and then probably many Poles will start thinking that maybe we should try something else than very similar crap under the name of liberalism, which will only disattract more people from idea of economical liberalism.

Have you watched debate when Tusk was talking about liberal economy and that it is our way (Irealnd)

He was talking some crap about prices of potatoes and that he will make a miracel in Poland...

and where is your "liberal" PiS ?

Both PiS and PO are economically socialistic but the first one are patriotic socialists and the 2nd are international ("European") socialists, so I prefer the first one.

History / Ancient Polish History thread [180]

Bolesław Śmiały (1042-1081)

The next one was a son of Kazimierz I Odnowiciel - Bolesław Śmiały (Bolesław II the Bold). He was duke of Poland from 1058 to 1076, and king of Poland from 1076 to 1079. Boleslaw II is considered one of the most talented of the Piast rulers. His main goal was to stop Germanic expansion. He intervened many times in Hungary and Kieven Rus trying to keep in power friendly rulers over there. In a conflict between the pope Gregory VII and emperor Henry IV Bolesław Śmiały supported the pope. Thanks to that Bolesław gained the royal crown of Poland in 1076, along with recognition of the title.

His domestic and foreign opposers set up a plot trying to replace him with his younger brother Władysław Herman. Bolesław arrested and executed the bishop of Kraków, who he believed was the leader of rebels. In result of that murder, the nobles revolted and Bolesław was forced into exile to Hungary, where he died in 1081. He also lost Pomerania, which regained its independence.

News / Polish Election Poll (according to PolishForums) [237]

For someone politically neutral Tusk probably gave better impression but that's what It is - impression, only.

It's more a show than a real value for the voters

Exactly.

look at the republic of ireland

Old argument... Ireland joined EU in 1973 and they were still a poor country for many years after that until their own government chose a good economical policy.

inflation happens regardless

It's not inflation but your "investors", who without EU were kept away.

You've not offered any substantial arguement

Go back to my #4, a bit more sophisticated than your 3 lines of "wisdom". Not enough ? Well, I'm not going to waste my time on fanatical EUnuchs, because that has no sense.

5 billion more than you would have got NOT being in the EU grzegorz.

And 250% more expensive flats, huge money lost thanks to reductions in CO2 emissions and other "goodies". Screw EUnuchs.

History / Ross kemp on Polish Gangs/Nazis - Untermenschen Nazis..?? [69]

Generally there are quite many nationalists in Poland but Polish nationalists not Germanic... In "far" version some of them say crap like "Adolf was bad but..." did a good thing with Jews or something similar. Real nazis also exist [there are also nazis in Israel (Jews, no kidding) so everything is possible...] but there are very, very few of them and they don't admit that openly as that obviously not a popular thing here.

I saw most of that thing (there was already a topic about It few days ago) and am almost sure that a guy paid these retards to talk these bullshi*ts - for exampel - we don't let nig*ers come to this pub - If you had ever been in Gorzów, you would have known that there probably have never been any black guy even trying to get into that pub. Dude simply tried to make that show as much sensational as this is possible.

Even now popularity of LPR (far right-wing party, that's still in the Parliament) has been deteriorating.

You may not like LPR but no way they are nazis.
