Life / A Polish Priest lying about freemasons [57]

I don't know how do you know this in first place. Beside of that many calls American culture to be "anti-culture", so especially Americans should be wary of lecturing grand old nations on this matter.

first of all, i am not an american i am polish; second, i am not lecturing. it's my observation. you can observe too but you have to be willing.

USA, Canada / Sending flowers to Poland from Canada [14]

So plk no wilted flowers...

well, there was this girl at work that was getting flowers from a far away state, constantly and those flowers were actually fedexed from that far away state. the addy on the card from the shop were from there not here..

and, have either of you ever heard of sarcasm? besides she said she was sending flowers from CA to PL.. not just sending flowers to PL which would make sense the way you guys talk.. the way she stated things, my answer is most logical actaully. no go use that "think" button yourself, eh?

hit the "think" button.

moeny isn't everything filios. yes, gdp is higher but thuggery is higher too. michals comments have nothing to do with money either.. they mostly pick on cultural stuff which hasn't changed all that much at all.

like i said, he did hit below the belt.. but hasn't he received far many more blows down there then he has dished?

He is entitled to his opinion, but there is a catch; the country the dimwit refers to doesn't even exist anymore.

well, things haven't changed all that much, have they? some things are way better, some way worse. if you shake it, it'll still shake about the place he puts it.

Calling Poland a 3rd world country

sure that is a low blow but really PL is not in the top tier and no one ever says 2nd world country, do they?

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

Oh yeah, it is true; it's easier to shoot yourself in a head rather then let's say jump off a bridge, but according to the list above - there are more suicides per capita in "non-gun" countries then in the US.

and that is probably right on.. however, less guns would mean that there would be even less suicide in the states as it wouldn't be as easy to commit.

did you post numbers that are something to the effect of 'suicide by guns only'? that'd be the only set of data worth looking at, imho. otherwise, these two topics aren't really that related...

I have a feeling that his motivation to be so vigilant in this subject may have been different then just a conviction to the cause of a gun-free society.

i have no idea what his or anyones' motiviation on this forum may be.. it doesn't really concern me not does it really matter in this subject matter.. i'll argue just to argue.. i'm sure there are others that do the same..

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

You get rid of the guns, I bet there would be a sharp increase in the number of stabbings etc. Certainly there would be less fatal killings though, and a lot of people would be saved.

doesn't seem to hold water with was are the facts in Australia.

this is the reason why both america and switzerland have the highest suicide-by-gun rates - becasue the are sitting at home in the drawer

what about canada or norway? lot's of guns and in fact more per capita then usa or sui.
