Love / Mexican in love with Polish girl. Need advice on what to do. [49]

ok let me get this straight, your a 'mexican' living in the 'USA' wanting to come to the 'UK' so you can marry a 'Polish girl' How about having some pride in Mexico!!!!! and if you've not seen here for a while then you can live without her, 'FACT'. If you want a green card get it without using somebody, or go back to Mexico and help out instead of running away

all this chopping and changing is real real bad its like trying to find what you wrote before, why not just leave it topic on or off, people can always pick up from where they left off as it will be where they originally posted it instead of having to go on a flipping treasure hunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ill find a nice polish boy if i dont find him...

by doing this you are restricting yourself, why not just say 'find a man' lol its much easier and leaves all kinds of doors open instead of simply sticking to polish men

USA, Canada / Has anybody ever been to Lincoln, NH? [7]

nice, what is an assisted living home, is that like for old people or disabled?? I used to help out at a place like that for my work experience at school. It's nice that you care for other people.

News / English vs. Polish hostility [323]

Can someone explain why all the hostility that the English seem to have about the Polish people?

I'm sorry this is just another example of the polish 'victim' syndrome. there is no real hostility at all, there is a minority who think that there are too many polish people entering the UK and that they should stop coming here.

Thats about all it is

News / Black Immigrant living in Poland infects dozens of women with HIV [174]

hay guys listen, its a black guy giving aids or HIV to girls, yes its wrong and yest of course he should pay for what he did, but lets not run down the racism path.

I mean no race, nation or religion is correct or perfect. For example a few years ago A polish pedophile was let into the country, he subsequently raped and killed two children. It's not the polish peoples fault its the people who made the decision to let them in.

I think in this case you need to be asking questions of your government, why was this guy let into Poland in the first place???

Language / difficult English words for Polish speakers? [119]

Have you been a teacher of English?

I am english but i have never been an official english teacher, i helped some of the people in my class with their english, grammar, spelling and all sorts really.

They used to wonder why i helped them, well thats part of the reason, secretly it was so funny listening to some of their pronunciations :)

News / Poland biggest problem [125]

I think for the Poles the church is an excuse.

I can see where you are coming from, but i don't see it as an excuse for them more like a hindrance. If the Polish nation would concentrate on real life issues that would benefit their country for the better instead of serving to please their 'god' or 'religion' which is the ramblings of a few bored guys who hit a nerve with the reading public.

hay you never know the Harry Potter books could become a cult religion in a few 1000 years :)

But on a series point just imagine Poland driving itself and going in a new direction without religion. The focus would be more in everyday important matters therefore producing a more successful prosperous Poland :)

Language / difficult English words for Polish speakers? [119]

Two more on the funny side here, i had some polish classmates who when they first started to learn english couldn't distinguish between these words, firstly there was 'sheet' which sounded always when they said it like 's**t'

The second one which sounded great when giving a powerpoint presentation was instead of 'theorist' they would say 'terrorist' which unfortunately for them made the whole room erupt into laughter. iI tried for a long time to teach them the difference in the two words and the way they are pronounced but for some reason it was very difficult for them.

I later found it was even worse for me to pronounce polish words than it ever was them speaking in English :)

News / Poland biggest problem [125]

I disagree and think it's losing faith is Poland's big problem.

Poland does not need faith in any god to make itself better it needs to deal with real life problems and concerns :)

a country of non-believers

theres nothing wrong of that, maybe the polish people would like to be let of the leash they are attached to called religion!!!!

News / Poland biggest problem [125]

Believe none of it, the church, the bible, the preachers, their simply following something that was written by a bunch of people who were board and decided to write a story book. Its the same for all religion, its for people who feel they need guidance instead of directing htemselves
