I think you should get together with rafik!!!! You seem to be as norrow minded as each other. Global warming is a bigger danger to us all, than even Bush's war on terror.

so far you ,mthe only thing that you have proven is that you can't stand people with different opinions and your only response to that is calling people names.i think you should losen up your hair as this seems to cause a huge pressure on your brain.i know your type of people;stubborn, narrow minded red necks who can't see anything but end of their noses.any arguments can't change your opinion.as you may have noticed (but probably you haven't)i'm not the only one with a similar opinion regarding so called "global rip off" but obviously you are the only one here who knows the truth and follows the right path.you didn't get anything from what i said so that i can't see the point in discussing anything with you.go and chain yourself to another tree or paint a posh woman's furry coat.this is the only thing you can do.i hope that idiots like you will stay away from our green country

Life / Quality and availability of Sky channels in Warsaw [5]

i presume that you are going to subscribe to sky tv back in the uk and bring the receiver ect to poland.i know a lot of polish people who bring decoders and dishes of cyfra or polsat here to the uk and have no problems at all.the quality is the same as in poland. i think it works the same with sky in poland.at the end of day a signal from the satellite should be no different in both countries.i used to have just a normal dish back in poland and could watch 2 or 3 british programs but i had to direct the dish to a hotbird satellite(another one is astra-mainly german programs).it's a bit tricky but with help of another person should be ok.

we paid 125£ each with ba in september(before that the price was below 75,also 120 with centralwings in may(before 50-70£) booking a few months in advance.

Return flights under 40 pound

most of the prices i checked were for over 50 and if not green taxes we would be paying half of that.
you don't want to deny that there are usless green taxes in the price of ticets do you?i wouldn't mind paying them if they were used for some green projects but at the moment none of them are used properly.we are being ripped off in the name of so called global warming.that's it

hairball

another scientis say that as follows;

Global average temperatures have risen by about 0.6 °C in the past century, and until recently almost all of this has been put down to human activity. But that may not be the only factor at work. A growing number of scientists believe that there are clear links between the sun's activity and the temperature on Earth. While solar magnetic activity cannot explain away global warming completely, it does seem to have a significant impact. "A couple of years ago, I would not have said that there was any evidence for solar activity driving temperatures on Earth," says Paula Reimer, a palaeoclimate expert at Queen's University, Belfast, in the UK. "Now I think there is fairly convincing evidence."

all i want to say is that even the scientists can't agree on what is the source of the changing temperatures.some say that we are responsible for 70% others that 4% of carbon emission.some predict global warming others global cooling.i can prove that the earth is flat if i have media behind me.at the moment media love the subject of global warming and make people believe that we,the humans, are entirely responsible for every disaster in the world.this is a superb excuse for introducing so called "green taxes".i used to pay 50£ for a ticket to poland now i can rarely find something below 100£.

i don't say that we don't pollut our environment.in my previous posts i agreed with recycling so on

Again your talking about things you know nothing about. Thatcher broke the miners because they were going on strike every other week to get more money. But it was more about breaking the unions and not the miners or global warming.

i know the reasons why mrs thather wanted to shut these mines down but as i said she used this argument as one of many other.that was picked up by some scientists and journalists.

there is another very interesting article to read.

ff.org/centers/csspp/library/co2weekly/20060920/20060920_13.html

so mr pks driver.do you want to call these people dick heads too?
btw.my friend told me a funny story.
apparently the term "global warming" was used and through that popularised by margarett thatcher during miner's strikes in 1980's.it was used as one of the many arguments to shut mines down.i don't know this part of the english history so that i can't verify it but it's still interesting.the guy who told me that is university educated so i think he must have known this story from a good source.

That is the normal temp for winter in Poland in Winter....Did you go to Antartica in the summer? It got to +40 in Warsaw and here in Żywiec where I am for more than three weeks! Is that Normal?

this is nothing unusuall.hot summers and cold winers have happened in the past too.

The lowest temperatures ever recorded in Poland were -41*C in Siedlce (in 1940) and -40.6 *C in the Zywiec Basin (in 1929). The highest temperature, +40.2*C, was recorded in Pruszkow near Opole in 1921.

this is from official govs site.

You didn't quote any facts mate!

canadafreepress.com/2007/global-warming020507.htm there is a link.you can find dozens if not hundreds of them on the internet
and a part of the text
Believe it or not, Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This in fact is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. For example, Environment Canada brags about spending $3.7 billion in the last five years dealing with climate change almost all on propaganda trying to defend an indefensible scientific position while at the same time closing weather stations and failing to meet legislated pollution targets.

Take your head out of your ar.

i'd rather you did it

Yes i'm very green!

wearing green jactets and having long hair doesn't make you an expert

I don't drive a car, I walk or I use public transport if I can't hitch hike

we have free choice in our modern society.don't try to make others do the same.instead of picking on ordinary people try to press your government on some more important issuses.people have to travel fast and cheap otherwise we will come back to stone age.why not to make sure that our goverments use our money to,say, construct an engine that uses 0.001l/petrol/100km?that would change a lot.building nuclear powerstation is something else, closing down mines ect.

AND I LOBBIED THE G8 TO WIPE OUT DEBT IN AFRICA

how?by shouting,burning cars,breaking windows?
it's not everything.they will go in debt again very shortly after.subsidies and taxes on the outside eu products are the biggest problems.also lack of training and their own mentality

A$$hole

whatever...

What did you do for dying children in Africa

nothing big yet but you never know.i'm just an average joe.nothing like you.i don't fight against other people or goverments.just turn off the light if i don't need it,turn off the tap when i see that someone left water running, use cups to brush my teeth, use as little plastic bags, cups bottles as possible and so on.

BURN MORE ELECTRIC?

what about you?your computer uses a lot of energy..?it looks like you are one of these people who love to punish themselves for being human and try to impose it on others

is that all you can come up with?
i told you about some facts and you call me a dick head?
does it mean that if i don't join the mainstream thinking i'm a dickhead?
dude.you are one of these greenies who would care more about foxes than dying children in africa.actually i love nature and so on but we are being riped off by the goverments who introduce more taxes but don't even try to find better solutions, greener energy and still subsidy the eu farmers insted of importing cheaper food from poorer countries.these poorer countries cut down or burn their forests ect.you start a thread and expect everyone to please yourself.cool

It hasn't been proven that carbon emissions cause global warming

exactly.all this sh1t about reducing carbon emissions is just silly.there was a program some time ago that proved that we produce just 4% of all co2 and the rest is produced by the sun's activity.some researchers say that we may soon have more cold weather not the hotter one.pictures of cracking icebergs, floods ect on tv only worsen our feelings and soften us up so that we can fork out more money on some stupid taxes(eg green aeroplane ticket taxes).none of this money are going to any projects but directly to goverment's chests.i can agree with recycling, planting new trees, helping africans and poorer countries by diverting some food production over there, training buying tools and scrapping all stupid subsidies for the eu farmers but not paying a lot of money in the name of "global warming"

History / Should Germany claim to be the victims in Poland? [510]

you guys are right.they did.my grandparents spent the whole war in germany.they were captured in their towns and sent deep into germany's territory to work.how much did they earn daily?just guess.nothing.they struggled to survive on food they got.after 5 years they were freed by the americans.50 years later they received a compenstation.5000 deutsch marks each.wow!they were lucky to be alive anyway.others never got anything.god bless the 3rd reich!
