News / KRAUTS RESUME POLE-BASHING [60]

I have found it sometimes difficult to get Europeans to speak freely while here on work related travel. Generally, providing booze or getting them really, really, angry does the trick.

Perhaps I will ply him with a gift of a large bottle of aspirin. I guess you cannot buy this in Germany? They all seem to buy it while here. What is it with the sparkling water? I wouldn't wash my feet with that ****!

News / KRAUTS RESUME POLE-BASHING [60]

I am working with a German national all this week. I will attempt to lure him into a discussion about Poles. A report will be forthcoming..

Genealogy / Help with these Polish names: Pelagia and more. [13]

I am afraid that Caprice has provided almost everything I know. (thankfully, of course.) It appears that my great-grandfather was a priest in the orthodox church. I have photos of them in casket and he has a very long beard and some sort of religious garb, His wife was in a habit in her burial photo. I suspect they were from eastern Poland or somewhere very close to the Russian border. They ended up in the Polish National Catholic Church in Pulaski Wis.

Mahlon appears to be a rare name. We may have some common ancestors? I am told that great-grandfather spoke 4 languages and that Russian was one of them.

Our nick-name for uncle Mahlon is "Link" or "Linc". Have you ever heard of this?

Life / Looking for details on hunting in the vovoidship of Warmia-Mazurskie. [92]

time means
I find your thoughts on this subject intriquing. What worldview do you hold? I'm not really bothered by your ad-hominem attacks because I would expect as much from a young and freshly indoctrinated university student. I have stated earlier in this thread that I can respect and support an individuals choice to be vegan. Why are you so intolerant and closed minded about other cultures and worldviews?

Note the word NATURE, a natural predator not some cammed up fukwit wannabe soldier (who's either too scared to join the forces or not good enough to make it)

Heh, heh, heh. Any more assumptions you want to make? I am the apex predator, so are you, only you choose to pretend that you are not. You are a sad, frustrated little man...pity. BTW, I told you not to watch. Sweet dreams! Dont be afraid, I will protect you.

Hunting for food to survive is not the issue here, killing for fun is!

Never have I met someone who killed for "fun". never.

I hunt frequently. I particularly enjoy hunting turkey because it requires a level of skill that most non-hunters would barely comprehend. As far as a painless death or "clean kill" is concerned, I offer you this video of the arrowhead I personally use. Make your own judgement. The video is somewhat graphic so if you are opposed to hunting-dont watch, If you hunt and want to make the cleanest kill possible, look and learn.

The world is not a emotion friendly place. Nature is even less so. I present to you the reality of wilderness. This photo was taken a few days ago by the trail cam of a friend of mine. It is near Bradford Pa.

I can understand someone choosing to be vegan, even respect them for their devotion. What I will not accept is someone who actively tries to make decisions for others. really, just who do you think you are?

USA, Canada / SHOULD WE POL-AMS BE ASHAMED OF AMERICA? [24]

The current administration has made a number of foreign policy blunders and protocol mistakes. Should you be suprised?

Poland needs to worry about Poland not what U.S. will do.

I totally agree. With Poland having been occupied so often in the past, why they seek to become entangled with others again kind of baffles me.

News / Microsoft Poland whitens a black face in its advert [130]

I find it hilarious, especially now the there is a Black American President.

Let me help you understand something. Obama is no more a "black" president than he is a "white" president. Would you mind explaining to the class where your bias originates from?

Are you a white idiot or a black engaging in subtle racism yourself? Maybe you are having a "Tiger Woods" moment. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

You Poles are going to learn a lot from me....

Most people in your country are basically racists against anybody who doesn't LOOK like them

Maybe they are indifferent to people who are NOT them?

USA, Canada / Polish/American food (they feed people in the US with toxins) [80]

Of course its real, I saw it on the internet. Now, a fat drunken bull-dyke with purple hair is possible in the states, but, this is all Europe. Just look at all that gibberish written on the wall. Prolly France or sumpin. :)

USA, Canada / Polish/American food (they feed people in the US with toxins) [80]

The average food item travels 1200 miles. Fresh produce off season travels multiples of that. Even growing food in California has tremendous impact. The Salmon fishery is devastated by the over consumption of fresh water that doesnt occur naturally in quantity. Between fuel consumption and unintended consequences, demand for fresh veggies off season is an environmental disaster. IMO

What level of processing constitutes junk food? processing for preservation is a necessary evil. The environmental cost of fresh vegetables year round is enormous. Where do we draw the line? Understand that I am not disagreeing with you, only trying to find viable solutions.

Better to just tax it all and use the revenues to prop up health care. Just give the excess to the health insurance CEOs in the form of subsidies and say it's to insure the overly weighted :)

:)::::::::::::::: :/

So fat people are hapless victims?

Wouldnt cheap plentiful food be considered a good thing? I am confuse........

I dont disagree with your recipe for health. How do you force people to do this?

You can raise the price or tax the **** out of it, but, If that worked we wouldn't be selling any alcohol or cigarettes right now. right?

There is a book about the toxicity of America's food supply titled:The Unhealthy Truth

Looks like an interesting book, I will take a look, Thanks. It's fairly common knowledge here that meals of convenience are not the healthiest. The good news is that I have a variety of choices in my diet. If I want organically grown fruits and veggies they are available, If I want meats without hormones and antibiotics it is also available. Live and die by the choices you make. I personally eat a lot of venison and fish.(I hunt, fish, etc.) I have a PETA shirt that I wear when I deer hunt.

One of the reason is that they feel that they are gonna die anyways.

Its true, We have a fairly Romanesque view of life and death at times. We have a saying here that "Nobody gets out alive". I dont speak for everyone of course.

True, i have seen the biggest pigs in the USA, huge, enormously gelly-like anatomy, eating mc donalds and never getting out of their cars

Damn them and their prosperity! In the soviet union we starved and we liked it!
Dood, lamest troll............. EVER!

I cannot discount this possibility. It is a common topic amongst most Americans. We know we've been looted but cant prove who did it. People see that deeds dont match words. We shall see.
