Can anyone tell me whether a Polish person can get a divorce if they are the guilty party and their spouse is not in agreement? Also, how easy is it to be accepted by a Polish family if you are seen as the person who broke up the marriage of their son/daughter?

hey.. this is definitely the thread for me. I too am dating a Polish guy who barely spoke any English when I met him.. now we are living together, but its not been easy. We love each other but there are so many language and cultural differences that lead to arguments at times. Also I know that his family will never accept me as he left his wife for me.. but Im not a bad person and we love each other... any comments welcome.

I am British and live with my Polish boyfriend. When I met him he spoke only a few words of English, had little money and a wife. But despite the odds we are still together 2 years later. Polish and English cultures are VERY different, but I think those differences make it exciting.
