History has not seen the full truth of what "Stalin" was up to. As the world freely condems "Hitler" the bigger killer "Stalin" continues to hide behind lies.

The executions of 21,857 Polish POWs and civilian officials, captured when the Soviet Union invaded Poland from the east in 1939, serve as a telling example. Known as the Katyn Forest massacre for the location where 4,421 of the Polish POWs were shot in 1940, this grisly event proved too big to be buried with the bodies. The Soviet authorities put together a commission that claimed to prove that the Poles had died at the hands of the Germans after they invaded the Soviet Union in 1941. But the Katyn files in the Soviet archives, all labeled top secret, offer incontrovertible evidence that Stalin and other Soviet leaders ordered the executions and then orchestrated a cover-up that would continue for decades. Pressed repeatedly by the Poles for an honest accounting, even Mikhail Gorbachev would provide only a partial admission based on "newly discovered evidence" that had been there all along.

Can we say it is better to die from cold, starving or hunger than gas? If we go into the number of deaths do we look at Russia and Germany.... I see the "Holocaust" as reporting "Jewish" victims on a large scale, where do non "Jewish victim's of Stalin" fit into the picture?

In the USA when "Holocaust" is brought up the majority will tell you it was "Jewish" victims. It is rather sad, maybe because USA was allied with "Stalin" and the shame helped to keep this silent. Plus the fact that "Poland" could not speak of it in "Communist Polands" and the ones that came here were trying to hold jobs and could not communicate.

I think when it comes to finding lost family members it makes a big differance. Look at the billions of dollars in the "Holocaust". They have documentation from area's our families lived and it really does alter the history the way it's written. As I read some of the stories in the USHMM.org I see the parts of the story no one is aware of unless they have studied "Soviet" aspect of it.

It is also a law that children in the USA learn about the "Holocaust" K-8. If my children are to be taught I want them to know the full story, not just one version. Each country in Europe has a different view.

Another thing that many don't understand, although "Stalin" had more victim's than "Hitler", Russia has never been held responsable, whereas Germany has had to pay compensation. Not to mention the fact that "Stalin" killed on a wider scale, his own people included. Yet look at the way Pres. Putin can speak of "Stalin" as a great leader. Do you think they could claim "Hitler" as a great leader without nation wide outrage?

USA I must say has a billion dollar business I'm ashamed to say. Shame comes from changing history to fit your story. Yes, I will say "Stalin" should be right there next to "Hitler" and the full story of how the "Holocaust" attorneys have been able to use innocent "Jewish" families that were victim's of both dictators along with the "Forgotten Polish victims". Look at where the money ends up, not with the "Jewish" families they are still in line as Swiss back accounts will tell you. So the "Holocaust" name is just that. It changes like you change your socks.

The reason being is "Jewish" were free to define "Holocaust" while their neighbors were silenced by "Stalin and Soviet and Russia" until 1989. With Poland being free to speak and the reception they are recieving from "Jewish" it is no wonder there is tension in the air. I personally never thought when this day came "Poland" would be treated as if the full truth was a compitition and with "Jewish attorneys" fine tweeking the meaning it's going to take some doing for all side to be heard. But IMO history today across a nation is distorted, incomplete and mis stated to meet one groups needs.

The Anders Army (officially the Polish Armed Forces in the Soviet Union) was the Polish army-in-exile that was raised in the Soviet Union in 1941-42. Its recruits consisted of Polish exiles who had been released from Soviet prison camps following the German invasion of the USSR on June 22, 1941, and the signing of the Soviet-Polish Reconciliation Agreement in London on July 30, 1941.

This is just "Katyn" so far there are other graves that have yet to be located, there is referance to them but Russia has not disclosed as of this date.

This is not true, Both Stalin and Hitler's plan was to kill off Polands people. Small # is also not the truth, more than Jewish victims is closer to the truth. Are you aware that the ones going to Siberia were to be killed but "Stalin" decided to slave them to death. They were never intended to live.

There is a misconception of the Holocaust during WWII. Please change your way of thinking, the holocaust was not ONLY the genocide of European Jews, it was the genocide of the ENTIRE polish population.

To the Nazis, the Poles were Untermenschen (subhumans) who occupied a land, which was part of the Lebensraum (living space) greatly desired by the superior German race. The ENTIRE Polish Nation was subjected to a program of extermination and enslavement. As Hitler made it clear before the German invasion of Poland in 1939, "The destruction of Poland is our primary task", Be merciless! Be brutal!, It is necessary to proceed with maximum severity, the war is to be a war of annihilation" .

Quote from Heinrich Himmler, the man who implemented the German war on the Poles and echoed Hitler's will "all Poles will disappear from the world. It is essential that the great German people should consider it as its major task to destroy all Poles."

Wow, how did I know this would happen when Poland was free to speak. Do you know how many Polish people were killed simply by trying to help the Jewish neighbors? From what I read the "Jewish" don't the attorney's that take the billions of dollars do.

Yes I am glad you understand it was "Poland" before it was taken over by "Communism". I'm sorry you do not see our families bodies, yes we also paid dearly, we are free now to speak the whole truth. At one point in time "Jewish" victims spoke of our families, then compensation and attorneys came into play and "Swiss" accounts, billions unaccounted for and rich attorneys. What took place in eastern Poland as Hitler was in western in 1939? You didn't see means you choose not to look. While Poland's people of "OTHER" have been silenced for almost 70 years, I think you may have forgotten that this was "Poland's People" reguardless if some feel being "Jewish" makes them choosen.

Thanks for pointing that out I should have been more clear. This is for property taken after the war on outskirts. As you can see in the articals I have submitted, Poland is not placing "Jewish" victims on the top of the list as they requested. What I am hoping is the full story be brought into 2008 with victims of "Polands people" from both "Hitler" and "Stalin" IMO the real victims.

This led to quick speculation
that the Jewish community would enjoy a priviledged position in

Nazi tanks offered for sale in Bulgaria

Hundreds of private collectors and some foreign museums have bought documents to take part in next week's auction, which will offer recovered parts of six German T3 and T4 tanks.

The defence ministry has so far recovered 55 German tanks, some of which will be sold at a second auction in late May.

Bulgaria, which joined NATO in 2004, received over 200 tanks, tank destroyers and heavy assault guns by the Nazis during the World War Two. The Balkan country smelted down some tanks after the war.
