UK, Ireland / BEWARE when coming over UK [363]

Frank if the guy is in the construction industry then he probably knows the reality - my friends husband along with 7 of his mates had their contract finished last Friday, on the monday they brought in Polish contractors - the reason was because they will work for less....there's a lot of tension on building sites in the UK, you can retort with "well thats down to the employer" but if there wasnt the labour pool to tap into then it wouldnt be happening...

Food / Is there McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc in Poland? Food survey. [222]

I had horse meat in Italy many years ago - wasnt actually aware at the time of eating it...only after when I asked the waitress (school skiing trip - no menu available!!) also had sweet meats on that particular trip....again wasnt aware what they were until later!! Both actually quite pleasant.

Ranj I think Bubs is a vegi so the idea of meat isnt very pleasant.

I think if you are the kind of person that is going to cheat then you will, personally Im one of the Victorian types that prefers not to...

I also dont understand those that take a cheater back after they find out, once a cheat always a cheat, no second chance!

Travel / Pubs or disco in Wroclaw, Krakow, and Warszawa? [30]

One of the clubs was not a bad size but the others were a little bit like bars with dance floors but good fun...music was spot on too!

I have never been checked in M/c, they had the nothing to declare bit down in Brum...the amount of L&M fags stacked up was mad...my mate took 2000 back and got them taken off her, she was taking them back to sell....I took several bottles of Wodka and some Becherovka home...It will last some time, I think we brought 8 botthes between us (me and Jo)

So when are you thinking of coming home??? Book flights now there are some good deals

get yaself on skyscanner - I think flying into Liverpool would be cheapest

Flights have definately increased, last year in the summer we got flights for £17 return including tax to Krakow!

UK, Ireland / polish girls outnumbers polish men interms of relationships with native from uk or ie [178]

When I was in Krakow in the summer there some English guys sat at a table near me and Jo, one of them (the most gross person - fat ugly and loud) was bragging how many Polish girls he had sex with....all lies, me and Jo were just laughing at him...Its when they go home with these lies, thats how girls get a bad reputation...sad little men!

Travel / Pubs or disco in Wroclaw, Krakow, and Warszawa? [30]

Booked the flight back in August so it was pretty cheap, but yes the lovely Environmental tax 10 pounds 5 each way will be added now.

Went to some great pubs and clubs, there was a little bit of snow it had snowed the day before we got there, eat some fantastic food...looking foward to going back to Poland in the Summer...

Got the lovely waiter in the Italian we went for my b/day to sing happy birthday to me in Polish...so sweet....my little stalker from Warsaw is still texting...bless...And the bar staff out of a club we went to in the summer remembered us...and got some birthday drinks off the staff in the Polish Pub - Absynth & Bailys...hmmmmm So yes all in all it was a fab holiday..

Bad thing was the flight got diverted to Brum on the way home because of fog, spent 3 hours on a coach to M/c and one of the girls got all her fags taken off her at Brum airport - I just took my chance walked past those waiting to get their cases x-rayed and didnt get stopped which is good because I had a 1000!! and Jo had 1400 plus several bottles!!!

UK, Ireland / polish girls outnumbers polish men interms of relationships with native from uk or ie [178]

I bumped into a friend tonight on the way home from work (she's Polish) and after reading a post here the other day about how Polish men dont think very highly of English women, I asked her and she said that they dont - they see English girls out of a weekend "showing too much skin" and are getting too drunk! It made me quite sad to think that they think that way because of a few......

I think after being told that by her I'd keep my distance from Polish men, maybe they'd only be talking to me because they think Im that way inclined...And I'm not into being insulted.

But on the flip side of it, she told me that her b/f works with a black guy and he says the same about Polish girls....Again, this is unfair because it's just not true...

Love / Do u girls really like to get poems from men or it's rather overrated? [71]

Gentlemen are a bit thin on the ground these days, I personally love the theatre and classical concerts (live in Manchester so we have 5 theatres and the Halle orchesta) plus we have a really good Jazz bar which is also a good night out...each to their own I suppose plus age is a factor when it comes down to taste

Not exactly As I know there are 0,5 mln East Europens in UK not British people in East Europe. In UK You have no problem with job, lowest wages is - 5,75F/h in Poland 1F/h or even less.

We do, people work to live in some instances, but the difference between English people and Polish poeple is - English people that are poor dont have the balls to get off their ar*es and find a better life, they waller in self pitty and breed children that will be the same, It hurts me to say this but its true.

Polish people are well educated dont worry, but not all Polish women are so hard, smart as You A.

Im as you say smart because of my upbringing (no sleeping about) and because I am aware this is a problem in the world and as a women I know that one moment of pleasure can lead to a life-time of misery....I make my own choices...based on this.

Oki, poorest country but most of US citzen, West Europe people etc think about Poland and (not only) as about poor/est country. Thats' was I mean

To a certain degree you are correct, but only because Polish people will work for less (economic situations are different, young people who live in a house with a few friends, not so different to English students, dont have mortgates, families etc.), that is something that the English and Polish have to really seriously start to speak about since it will cause problems in the UK, but on the whole if you think about standards of living verses salaries in the two countries there is little difference - England high cost of living Poland low cost of living in comparison...I hope that makes sense.

Mr. Dooooooosche seems fine

No, since this a fem product I would rather not associate it with such an ar*e hole!

Do you remember Simon Mol (recently HIV story)? Maybe because I know them better than You

Mr M, I remember to well the debate that went on, on the forum and he was an evil person and they were stupid girls who will pay for not insisting, but isnt Poland to blame to a certain degree, in the UK we were bombarded with the AIDS campaigne over 20 years ago, Poland I would imagine has done nothing to make women aware that they must protect themselves at all times....regardless of colour this is a disease that does not discrimate and that is what we should all be aware of
