News / How does Poland imagine other countries see her? [84]

and it continues to be a problem.

thats one reason to which stops me from sending, even though I do. I feel very
safe sending to church.. theres never been a problem so far.. least to my knowledge.

but I suppose the church has high respect. so if A mail carrier stole from a church and
was found out, that would be pretty bad..

But Americans are happy, they have a different attitude towards life than Poles, are more relaxed,

krysia thanks,, you are right.. not all of us do.. but good majority are more relaxed
and outgoing.. its more of the how to afford..

we arent free of faults.. we have plenty, I just wish people didnt have such a bad
feeling about the people. and yes I guess it does depend on where you visit too..

thats where I was at.. anyone else pretty sure cubic was agreeing..

History / Should goverments pull in war criminals from WWII? [33]

It could be useful to show others with similar intentions that there is no way they'll be left in peace. A sort of deterrent. People will always think they can get away with war crimes because others have done so in the past. A line must be drawn somewhere otherwise these crimes will just continue to happen.

no,the Nazis would have just injected such a pathetic old man with phennol if he couldnt be dragged to the Gas chamber or execution pit. They were no respectors of age,why should that now be a defense?

I get where you both coming from but if hes already a vegtable.. he doesnt know hes
even in jail. and is probably already dying.. or has cancer.. I mean. why bring
this to a trial when hes about the face his judgement day with someone far more
impotant then you or i. I know they deserve it, but at that point, I think its not
going to prove much in the eyes of the public..

its submission , surrender to the almighty lord who created everything , obey his orders in sincerity so that you may feel peace in your heart and soul.

I can see where the misinterpretation comes in just by this simple phrase.. how
someone could manipulate it to their benefit to get followers to do whatever it is
the want them to do to become one with him...

Should goverments pull in war criminals from WWII?

well who is still lurking free these days? wouldnt they be dead by now? or mostly
dead.. and what good would it do to put a man who is laying in a hospital bed
bedridden and excreting on himself in jail? if it was to happen, it should have
happend when his life was a life so that he can suffer ( not that he would ever feel
the suffering he gave) but his lively years would be gone.

and its not also what u see on TV nor read in the newspaper

for some,, those who choose to interpret it the right way

this that 90 % of crimes here iin the free usa are comitted by non muslim poelpe

and crimes committed in muslim countries are committed by who? or are you saying
that muslim countries have no crime rates??

raping of children and murder and all such terrble things that happen here in the good ole usa now tell me why are muslims to blame for all the bad things that happen?

so muslims do not rape in their country? they do not kill? I didnt read that anyone said
they are to blame for everything. but dont act like muslim is the holy sinless people
of the earth because thats stupid..

I said that they misinterpret what islam is all about,. and some use the religion
as a scapegoat,, you deny that???

just like a stupid person from the united states who could be christian and use
that as a scapegoat, but there is more instances in the islam world, because they
use it to satisfy their own needs.. from killing to rape.. and if you think this is right
then you need serious help..

narowwed minded people out there

people are reading, seeing and its media,, just like you would believe something
about the president if you seen it on television that he was going to do something
bad ...

also remember the the bombing in oklahoma city was comitted by 2 christian extremist who hated our and theyre own government and killed hundreds of men women and children in theyre own country!!

so you believe they were christian?? is that not narrowminded? anyone who is
christian knows that people do not kill. it was another scapegoat reason to get
people to believe they were doing a worthy cause.. yet in fact were hard core
killers... murder has no religion.

in that she refused to accept an arranged marriage.

I used to think ok, this is the way it is for some countries, I know now that its
the *MAN* who makes the decisions on what he sees or does with religion.

growing up, I always wondered, but now its clear,, and I dont think even the good
man upstairs would forgive all the misinterpretations going on .. because thats
whats going on.

its not ok to hurt someone because they choose to live the way they want..
just because a father gives life to his children doesnt mean he has to rule and live
their life for them.. each lives their own lifes.. and we choose the good or bad path
and its not culture , its a excuse to use something thats supposed to be religious
as the scapegoat to kill or hurt something because they cannot come to terms with
their own anger and they make it up as they go... thats my interpretation of it..

It's part of life. You should have expected this.

I did, Im relating my personal experiences with my daughters to him to show him
that this happens.. they come to me and tell me how they feel and whats going on
and cry.. and I am there for them always.. I cant take away the hurt, I wish I could
I let them decide whos good and whos bad and listen as a Mother should..

Then she knows... It was probably the only thing they talked about all night.

be careful, now there is two involved and friends to boot.. so just try to make
things right,, tell her what your intentions.. and be honest. :)

I'm not sure that she knows about me giving my number to her friend,

well if her friend is really her friend,, chances are she knows.. if her friend isnt her
real friend, then chances are she dont.

.

I don't go around flirting with every girl in a fight to get some action.

I dont think you do that at all. your a very smart young man.. and this statements
one which you can be proud of because at your age alot of young men want to try
New things and that can get them into some big trouble.. *being a daddy *..

there is consequences .. thats why I say you should be Proud and I am proud of you
and I dont know you, I think your a very sweet and good young man.. I wish there
was more of you living here in the states.. :)) all of us moms would be glad.

by the games boys play,, the other only 11 years of age and trust me their little hearts
get broke so easily.. keep your plans and thoughts.. you will figure out the rest as
you go..

I don't really want sex with her yet, yeah she's really hot. But I want another 3-4 years atleast. Want to be able to trust her and know she's the one before we get to penetration.

* closing my eyes.. I cant read ... wait till marriage please.. lol.

Love / Things not to do with a Polish girl? [97]

But I feel like I've offended her or something. Anyone got any ideas?

well, you probably did offend her a slight bit .. if a girl knows that a guy likes her and
all of the sudden hes handing out his phone number to one of her friends.. well I know
thats bad sign.. because its like your just trying to find someone and kind of shows
desperation.. you just want someone to have your number right :)

for a 15 year old , you are very mature, so this kinda surprises me because you are
such a well put together young man .. and I hardly know you only by this post, but
reading it , you sound well above and beyond your years and have plans . which is
very good .. but,, the fact remains that you gave your number to her friend. so
probably a single pink rose ( means I like you) here in the states, so find out what
a pink rose means there.. and maybe some special candy or something like that
and just tell that you meant nothing by it and only like her..

as for the rest, you both have long way to go, and time to enjoy each other,, school
is so important and I believe you will go far :)) I dont have a son, but I can say
if I did, I would really love one just like you.. your one smart young man.. I am sure
your mother is extremely proud. :)

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

future for our children and their children too , so ask me again and you will get the same answer all our children are our future .

I agree with all of it.. and some people just cant understand or want to understand
and the crowding of children is harmful to both. I used a story to compare because
we have first hand experience of it. affecting my daughter.. moving from one school
that had more time /less children in the classroom to less time and more children in
another school. which did in fact affect her , because there was a select few that needed more attention ( because comprehension and her diability) so therefor her

grades fell and it has been a struggle to move back up the ladder since. but we
managed to , yet were not quite there all the way. its devastating though when
you cant get the help you need because of under funded schools.. I want her future
to be stable.. and so do all those Polish families who came there with good intentions
and trust.. and who can blame the teachers? they are doing 100% and fighting for
a good cause and the govt is the one who needs to step up to the plate and make
things right.

Your whole story is about a school in the US.

it refers to it yes, but alot of schools face these problems.. doesnt have to be the U.S.
I was merely comparing. some things are similar and some arent.. so whats the problems of discussing that?

Second, I never stated that some schools (both US and british) may indeed lack proper funding.

where does it state that I accused you of stating this? what are you referring to?

Third, how does your story relate to the topic of this discussion?

comparison of overcrowding! then need for more resources.. that is what.

Patty was just explaining that problems happen in the US in education - now apologise for being a ****!

she knows me well. knows I would never purposely hurt anyone or attempt to
and knows I have no agenda to make anyone look bad on here.. and knows that
I am a warmhearted person, just as I know she is.. some things anger us more then
we know,.. and its something we cant help because our heart is in the right place..

and as we both know those certain forum members who also would never do that.

I know I am still learning and It will never stop, not for me,, its to vast to collect it
all.. IMHO.

I believe otherwise.

slick. I am not mocking. so dont take this wrong, but believing and going to the
board of ed and seeing whats really happening makes all the difference..

I have two girls.. if I was to send them to school in a over crowded situation I am surely
going to get majorly involved with the situation.. especially if I am paying high dollars
for education..

but I am sure the problem is within the public school system ( am I right?) to which
parents and teachers have to work together to make things work, voices. its no
doubt hard to teach a classroom of 30 kids Vs 15 kids and learning with them one on
one teaching just is impossible.. and I know, my daughter has a class of 30 kids. all
of them have different ways of learning.. some will grasp it some wont.. imagine
a class full of 30-40 kids and half are from other countries?

britain is also funding a war that diverts a lot of money from where it should be spent

yeah..so is the U.S.

but there is much contention about where the money goes and in some cases people feel that causes being funded by the lottery should be funded by the government through taxes paid

same here. only we dont have over immigration. we have over crowded schools
because local govts cant get their Sh*t together. I guess education suffers all
over ..

I would like to see pay cuts put on the officials who run govt. stop taking those
vacations /spending money uselessly.

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

exactly - some resources were put in place but it appears that the british government totally underestimatted the number of poles and other nationalities that would leave their home in search of a better life in the uk

so now they need to speed up the process to get these kids back on track and
provide for those who are staying.. you know, we have a lottery going, most
of these funds are supposed to go for shools ( of course corruption) but I wonder
if something like this would work there? like maybe half goes to the lucky winner
the other half to the school systems ??

hey does the UK have a lottery?? ( forgive me if that was a really stupid question) lol

UK, Ireland / Are polish pupils harming native british childrens education? [280]

Well I dont see any other kunts on this thread do you?

lol

Everyone does, the problem at the moment in the UK kids are not getting a fair whack at it. simply because the lack of resources and diverting rescoursing to what most british think is a complete waste of money....

understandable.. so the EU should have put in place *first* the resources.. but
not knowing the full extent of how many would immigrate, they became overwhelmed.

what the link says is that the sudden influx of immigrants into the uk is overstretching an already overstretched education system and having a (negative) impact on students and staff alike

I can see where there is concern for sure

it also says that teachers are at their witts end trying to accomodate the need for additional language lessons needed by some of the immigrants and are calling for additional support

this is similar to when they are closing schools here.. children get bussed out to
other communities and the resources are just not their, and it affects the whole
area.. and the kids suffer the most. not that its their fault nor the teachers,,, because
they do the best they can to the best of their abilities, but ultimately its govt that
does the giving and the cutting.. hopefully it gets resolved so that the children can
focus better .

Or simply using that fact as an excuse to get more funds...

I am sure they need it with the abundance of pupils and need for translators and such
why would you believe otherwise.

He welcomes you and then as soon as he discovers you have a bad word to say about Poland thats it.

I dont think thats the case,, hes just set in his ways as I think we all are on our
opinions.. gregs a good guy.. little outspoken.. but thats everyone.
