History / UPA barbarian murders on Polish and Jewish neighbors during WW2 [150]

Sadly anything between Poland and Russia is some kind of a blind spot for me (and most Germans I would gather) so I'm really learning stuff! - said by Bratwurststein boy.

Germans know more about "blind spot" than your retarded brain will ever learn. I met many Germans in my beloved Lviv and they happened to know a lot of our history and culture. One Polish guy, I was working with, kept on repeating " ruscy, ruscy". I talked to him about history, our culture, similarities and differences. And still after hours of talks and discussions he said: "Still ruscy, because this is how I leant in school". So, this poor guy with mentality of a 15 year old boy could not understand a thing (he, like many, stopped his development in high school). My parrot speaks 15 words in 3 languages - it took him less time, Brustbrat boy. So, put that "superiority" of yours in a place where there resides your brain - your ass.

History / UPA - Ukrainian Insurgent Army. How they killed poles in Volhynia (1943). [139]

Have you read "Lalka" by B. Prus, Sokrates? There is a good example how you could buy coat of arms just having enough money. Or "Count Monte Cristo" by Duma where a simple guy Dantes buys by his fortune a title of a count (Hrabiego in Polish , if I am not mistaken). Therefore, to tell about coat of arms and one's ethnicity is useless. Certainly it was prestigious at that time to have one so they bought them, even changed last names adding "-ckij" or whatever.

I think if you help your generals to draw these plans a bit faster, Sokrates, it would be nice, because it really takes a long time to put 'em to work. Ukraine is waiting.

Prince, I respect you, but stop using expressions like "Poland is good for you". It does what it does for its own sake and Ukraine is not waiting for a free breakfast. Just let's be friendly countries because each one of us has many other social problems to deal with on inside.

Thank you, Prince, I do have and know my roots. My roots lie in Kijiwska Rus, Halyckie Kingdom, Cossacks and up until now. I wonder why are you so anxious about my roots and ethnicity. I am Ukrainian and will be one till my last breath. I am proud of my heritage. "Bunch of criminals", you should be ashamed to say that. The fact that you were carrying feathers and ate with silver spoons doesn't make you more noble or right to call others criminals. There are different people everywhere, of course, there were other ethnicities among Cossacks - they didn't judge people based on their position in the world, money or origin - like great "republic" at that time. Stop digging in my roots, better look at yours.

Matjasz, I blame all who are to blame and frankly saying I have less respect to Ukrainian traitors than to Polish lords. And since you agree that Wisniowicki was Ukrainian , so Ukrainians were fighting among themselves. Therefore, don't whine that Cossacks were brutal to Poles - they fought among themselves.

Jarema Wisniowecki - was Orthodox and since Poles were in majority Roman Catholics and since his birthplace can't be know and since place of birth usually doesn't clearly defines one's ethnicity, still I consider him to be Ukrainian as Bogdan Chmelnickij. The fact that he fought against Cossacks for his property and status doesn't give me much respect to him, but still he , in my opinion, was Ukrainian, Matyjasz.

Listen, Sokrates. what I found in your link is that he was born in Subotiv, near Chyhyryn, Ukraine. His father belonged to a clan (whatever "clan" means). So? He had a coat of arms from some Polish noble origin. So? His father was Ukrainian as well as he himself.

I encourage you to start follow Bogdan's DNA sequences to try to figure it out. But still you didn't mention the other two I mentioned above. Don't worry, Sokrates, I love you, my Polish friend. Just don't be jealous.

Polish peasants didn't fight for faith like Cossacks.
Leonardo da Vinciewicz and Frigosz Nitszchewkij were Poles. "Abdank" family? I think Chmelnyckyj was your beloved German. Yes, that's right.
You want to be a Cossack's descendant, don't you? my little friend, I knew it.
But I think Poland has many great heros itself to be proud of, Sokrates, just read it and find one for yourself. You can't do anything to who you are, just be yourself. Regards and bisous.

And you talk way too impersonnaly, no arguments, no facts. Bogdan was an ethnic Pole? What is this a joke? I knew Nitszche was an ethnic Pole as well as Leonardo da Vinci, but this one is new to me. Well, at least I know something that can be said of Poles - you are Roman Catholics (almost 100%). So, if Cossacks fought to protect their religion as well as many other irreputably important things - like FREEDOM, this means they couldn't be even close Polish. Cossacks are pure Ukrainians and I am proud of that, that these brave people were my grand-grand-grand fathers. Be jealous, because there is of what to be, Sokrates. Bisous.

Miranda , I have a great respect to what you are doing here. With some German boot-lickers, like Sokrates, with whom it is difficul to argue because he has his brains on its tongue and not in his skull, it proves to be difficult. But to bring facts and discuss our problems on both sides of the border in order to know each other better is what this is all about. For kids it is a game, to show that they are something, to laugh. But because of people like you, Sokrat, many generations in the past died. You are talking of fields and serfs. I would better be a serf in chains beaten and tortured than king of your kingdom "well-educated and unsurpassed". I will freely speak my language and pray to God than ever think of other people in diminutive way you always do, Sokrates. It is pity and shame. Cossacks were not Ukrainians, Kijiws'ka Rus is not our ancestry - f* off, sick f*ck.

"Loose ethnic relation" - you ate my balls off - hhahaha.

First time Russia got its official name under Peter l around the end of 17th century from the name of Kyjivka Rus'. Before that people of this country were called ruski, moscovites etc. Kijivska Rus is Ukrainian past with its kings, queens and dukes. Eventually russians took the name and adopted it, we had the other one - Ukrainians. First time this name is mentioned in 12th century. Your beloved Germans didn't call themselves Germans till 19th century. They didn't consider themselves as a nation till the 19th century. The same is about Poles. You were vassals of the king and you fought for him, not for your nationality. The same can be said about Italy which united from many kingdoms at the end of 19th century as well. To say that Ivan Fedorov was Russian is the same as to say that Kopernick was Polish. Did he write in Polish or old German? Did he live in Poland or Prussia? You see, it doesn't lead too anything.

Kijiv was built as a settlement in 5th century and grew constantly. Jaroslaw Mudryj married his daughters and sons into different European liaisons: French , Sweden (ones that I am aware of). He lived at the beginning of 1000. Will you have your daughters and sons in marriage with people living in huts and forests ( not that there is anything bad in it, but against the rules at that time).

Sokrates, write explanatory, or if you are a kid who doesn't like to pick up a book, say it.

I will tell you "a way out". Each one of you even doesn't use his own name: One is using GERMAN kielbasa and the other - a Greek philosopher's name. Why do you like so much German toes? Why do you write nonsense and create hostility. Know that I don't have hatred to Poles in my heart. I respect your country and your culture. But because of these low conversations we have, some may find a lot of reasons to hate each other. And this will complicate the lives of our kids in the future. Do you want that? If this is what you are after - to blubber without any arguments, say so , be men. I wouldn't even bother to answer.

"greater moral or ethical awareness" - what is it? being a human you need what? know where the stars are or the angles of a triangle? behave in a normal human way and don't be a piece of shit - do you need philosophy? Have you heard of Skovoroda, a great Ukrainian philosopher of 18th century. But does it matter? You think mothers in Ukraine told their children to be hateful, don't believe in God and kill your neighbors.

Well, I am educated ( at least by our current views), but if you kill my child, I would murder the whole village of your wives, children and men. So, does it help to be educated? Does it make me more tolerable to injustice? Judge yourself.

"culture and education was not in abundance":

1580 - bible printing began in Ukraine by Fedorov
1615 - Kyjevo-Mohylanska Academy, one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe
1740 - 866 primary schools
Monasteries throughout Ukraine since its Christendom in 988 by Volodymyr the Great
Hetman Mazepa created universities in Ukraine at the end of 17th century.
What about churches and their educational ole in society? Do you know Sofia Church in Kyjiv? 1019 built of stone on place of a wooden one. This was a center and still remains of Orthodoxy in the world. And these are times of Mieszko l if I am not mistaken, your first king, right?

Sokrates, I didn't want even to mention your name, but again you keep on licking German boots like a whore. I am surprised there are no one except me to tell you that, but again you are proud to be German's pussy. Go ahead, sucker. I don't consider you a Pole, because I think Polish are proud of themselves and don't bend over like you to receive a load. So, yes, do whatever you are doing, but while doing it , don't talk it may hurt Germans.

Why are you afraid of "ass" word, Juliet? Do you consider it to be a less important part of the body than your mouth? You called me and millions of other people animals. Well, you and I are animals anyway. But yes, build your relations with whomever you want. I just said about Yanek's site which is neihter Polish , nor Ukrainian which makes it greatly suspicious, don't you think so. Of course, there were killings, otherwise, we would be a part of Great Poland or Great Russia right now. Some chose this type of persuasion, because others failed to convince yuo in the long run of bloody history, where you behaved in a much worse way.

History / Who Was Really Behind the Shooting of John Paul II? [21]

Russians had their finger at that 100% because they were scared that having a pope Poland will be more prominent and more bold in their political moves. This is what happened later. After a while Soviet Union was no more.

Yanek found a russian site about UPA and how they killed Poles. Russians are not willing to show documents of Katyn' and keep on fabricating facts of WWll. Read real documents and don't listen to this russian agent trying to bring hostility to our relations. This is all they are about.

Sokrates, I just leave you with battles, read and learn. I know you like to piss me off. I acknowledge that you are an ignorant daisy, but that's ok. Look at your answers to me, what kind of bla-blah answers are they? Please, write something supported, explanatory, smart, not like a kid who gabbles on his mother's tit. Come on, move up!

Ok, here are some important victories on my side:
Ostrog
Zhovti Vody
Korsun
Pylavtsi
Lviv
Zbarazh
Zboriv
Batih

In many of these battles as well as Berestechko, Poles bribed Tatars so they escaped from battlefield (pussy tactics on Polish account). In Berestechko, when bribed Tatars left, taking Chmelnickij as a hostage with them, cossacks fought like men and some gave their life holding Poles so the rest can safely retreat. And dear Sokrates, don't forget Sahaydachnyj, who in 1616 took 42,000 of cossacks to save Vladislav Vasa and Chodkiewicz from Turkish army at Khotin and sultan Osman ll retreated. Varna (10,000 navy destroyed), Synop, Kaffa were burned by cossacks in rescue of imprisoned christians. Before that they were considered unapproachable port fortresses.

For russians it was Konotop battle where they lost 30,000 men in one day! Before 20,000 Sahajdachnyj troops made some mess near Moskow ( pity he didn't burn it to the ashes) in 1617. russians can't stand his name up to this day.

I wish you could write at least as I did and not spittle this site with childish saliva. Otherwise, I wish you good luck and as you say "czapka z daszkiem"!

Genealogy / Ethnicity in Poland [17]

Hi, Miranda. I think you shouldn't call them "friends". This is what is going on wrong with relations between the two countries. Parents kill any notion of respect towards your neighbor just on the basis of their historical hostilities. I pray that it will change. But the way I have lost a very dear to me person, because of where I came from.

S*krat, I can use your full name because it is derogatory to a great Greek philosopher whose name you are using.
First of all, we fought Poles as long as we fought Russians. As you know many times we gave a good spanking - to both of ya. Ukrainians defended themselves on different fronts: Polish , Russian, German. Some viewed that with an alliance with Germany it will sooner be independent, others - considered Germany as a main agressor and defended their land in the Soviet army. Either side ultimately realized that the only way to become independent is to fight ferociously against all. Not having many men, many used teror as a tactic.

Second, how do you know if they were Ukrainians or Russians when even now after Ukraine is independent for 18 years, many Poles I talked to, don't have a slightest idea in language, cultural and historical differences between the two. It is a historical fact that KGB did put on UPA military form to discredit them. With this I don't want to say that UPA didn't kill Poles as well - they did.

Third, we always fought and I am proud of Ukraine. 400 years and still WE, UKRAINIANS, WON OUR INDEPENDANCE. russians tried to destroy it by killing writers, scientists, poets and even regular people who had a different opinion. People to whom I bent my head and knees fought for my country , paid by blood and resurrected it. Without them, there would be no Ukraine. Saying that russia gave us independance is sick and most importantly ignorant, but I know that you say that because you want to hurt, not because you know the truth.

Fourth, do you know that out of 8.7 million Soviet soldiers fallen in WW2, 1.4 million were ethnic Ukrainians? It is almost 17%. Those that fough is estimated between 4.5 and 7 millions (big gap because of ethnic factor discrepancies). Germans suffered 93% of their losses on the Estern front. Total loss by my country is estimated 7 million people during WW2. And you dare to say that somebody gave us freedom?!!!!!!!! I hate Soviet Union myself for what it did to many generations, but many Ukrainians also died on Polish fields fighting Germans along with your partisans. So Sokrates, be kind to the fallen and be grateful that they gave us whatever we have now.
