Life / HOW WIDESRPEAD IS RECREATIONAL DRUG USE IN POLAND? [30]

I can't notice them anymore anywhere..

I haven't seen any glue sniffers here in Gliwice.

Let that be a lesson to anyone who wants to sniff glue.
Sniffing glue kills! or at very least confirms your an idiot.

Life / HOW WIDESRPEAD IS RECREATIONAL DRUG USE IN POLAND? [30]

Polish heroin, also known as "compote", is a crude, addictive opiate drug

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_heroin

He is talking about a poppy derivative made at home sometimes here in Poland.

News / Exploitation of Poles working abroad [30]

Exploitation of Poles

Poles are always complaining in work,
At my fun sweatshop factory they never stop moaning.
"Can I go to the toilet?"
"Can I go to the hospital?"
"Where's my mummy?"
Their petty complaints never end.
I am a fair employer, I let them go to the hospital the first time they glue their fingers together, after that I don't of course, they have to learn somehow.

At night-time I bang on their cages so they don't feel lonely and what do I get? crying, they are so ungrateful.

History / RUSSIAN TV ACCUSES POLAND OF BEING HITLER ALLY [30]

Do you know how many Soviets actually died defending Warsaw?

I know that an absolutely ridiculous amount of Soviets died in WWII but nobody says anything about defending Warsaw.
It is seen as an attack, as the Red army stopped before Warsaw.
The Warsaw uprising was in progress and the Red army waited for it to be finished, not liberating it.

I meant that every single Russian (not Soviet) move often being painted black only with no alternative view.

I have not heard them be blamed for starting the second world war, that is a bit too far.

When I was growing up there was the iron curtain and cold war.
Now, with the end of the hard core cold war, fall of communism and the advent of the internet,
relations must be changing between Russia and other countries?
The young generation have a different out look at your country and visa versa, no?

The government? It's a politics. Tit for tat, zub za zub.

They are always getting all of us in trouble.

UK, Ireland / Exploiting Polish Workers by the UK businesses [90]

I tried to wiki the subject, but I couldn't find references to the hierarchy he was speaking of.

well of course that was my first and only reference place, as you know, oh you did know that hahahahahaha :)

Nope, I am saying they are inferior eastern europeans. Bringing in people from inferior countries and cultures degrades this country.

Link please hahahahaha

History / RUSSIAN TV ACCUSES POLAND OF BEING HITLER ALLY [30]

???.. Of course, they more or less were.

So you think Russia liberated Poland?
As for your efforts to squawk about Ireland, you know nothing.

the Polish media in its turn has never stopped doing antirussian injections into folk's body

I would call it anti Soviet or communist but not anti Russian.
There seems to be a huge difference that people see between the Russian people/culture (thumbs up) and the communist C.C.C.P. (thumbs down).

Of course I am only an observer and I do not speak for the Polish people.

*Edit, But why are the Russians doing this?
What is thought in schools in Russia about communist times? are they seen as good?

History / RUSSIAN TV ACCUSES POLAND OF BEING HITLER ALLY [30]

What do you make of all this?

It makes me think that Russia are trying to re-write history to make themselves look like the liberators of Poland after the second world war.

To make it look like the commies were on the good side.
I partially blame it on the Nazis being demonetised but not the Soviets.
Have you a link or something so we can read about it, please Polonius3?

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

Im not sure of the actual words but from the desciptions they sound rather disgusting, evil perhaps.

so through descriptions from you friends, they are saying that the ouija board can say evil words?
In English? more evil than the vile racist remarks that are sometimes posted on this forum?

indeed on the other thread you want to say something about my dream premonitions, you cant say anything that will alter the reality or explain it away on the mind unless you admit i can see the future.

I can't admit that you see the future.
But you probably knew I was going to say that :)

My wife is living proof, if i hadnt told her months before then maybe.

Okay.

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

Time and time again its been proven, i know people who will not talk about it at all.

I don't see not talking about something as proof.

Theres something you didnt list here on your research, it appears that many connections spell out grotesque and vile words. One explenation is that these words exist in ones subconscious, thats true but i dont believe thats the reason.

Why not?

Yes cardboard or wood, its the process and opportunity it creates not what its made of.

I agree.

Maybe not channel through you, but there is something about it which defies belief.

Defies reality, I would say.

There is a place in Ireland called the seven miracles of four Ireland.
One of the "miracles" is a tree that can not be burned but if you tried you would rot in hell for all of eternity.

It's bull, superstitious mumbo jumbo, they have done studies in to Voodoo, interestingly enough Voodoo only works on people who believe, same with all these superstitions.

The mind is a very powerful tool, your whole world perspective can change through belief but that does not mean the whole world has changed.

The reason...

I don't think reason comes into it.

A physical sign would give any human in denial a serious fright, probably fcuk them up for the rest of their lives in fact.

So why do a ouija board at all then and why ask for a sign.
I am not going to be convinced of a board with "special powers", its cardboard.
It doesn't use me, it doesn't have the ability to channel dead souls through me, it's just a kind of paper, wood at best.

Study / Son wanting to go to school in Poland [7]

He is actually doing a study abroad with some kids from his college.

Ah so he will be coming with friends, that will make life easier and if there are any communication problems you can contact one of them.

He SAID his schooling is paid for since his tuition is covered here.

Have you the name of the foreign exchange program?

How about round trip airfare?

I have no idea, check it out on a airline website.

So new to all of this. Just trying to get an idea. Thanks!

No problem.

Your son is all grown up and wants to spread his wings, it is natural that you would want to make sure he will be okay.

It gets cold in winter here but the crime rate is not very high and I think it is comparatively cheaper than the U.S.

Study / Son wanting to go to school in Poland [7]

Hello Jewel777,

And welcome to the Polish Forums.

Poland has some very cold winters, I don't know if you are accustomed to them?

How old is your son?

If schooling is paid for about how much should we expect his extra expenses to be?

It depends on where in Poland he lives.
Cities are more expensive than villages.
It also depends on his life style, if he cooks for himself or needs a car etc..

Basically if you give us more information we can then give you better information.

Do you find a difference between Polish people from Lithuania and Polish people from Poland, regarding Lithuania?.

maybe you should try one.

hahaha, naw, same way I am not going to look for unicorns or sleep in a graveyard.

We got anti Ouija board propaganda in school in religion class, demon possession and all, it was so stupid the people they were talking about were mad as hatters.
