History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

lets do it this way: please state what made Stalin a great leader. love to hear it. don't state he's a great leader without telling us what made him one.

History / Jews...and their Polish experience [520]

the situation is complicated all I advocate is return to orginal borders created after ww2 what ever they are I would have to see the orginal ww2 document. not only in lebanon or gaza but everywhere you occupy since the arab israeli war. if you do that then you will have my complete support. even will serve in your army once you do that to keep the peace.

History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

to those who think stalin was a great leader of russia. what great leader needs to kill his own people. a leader is respected not feared. **** stalin and hitler and **** those who defend them. hitler lost for a reason and USSR collapsed for a reason. the reason is they were full of sh*t.

even though the israeli governement withdrew they did not withdrawal to the original borders. so the terrorists keep using that as an excuse and for the west its hard to argue with that. so if israel did withdrawal then all in the west would have no choice to agree with israel if the attacks continue because they would be convinced that the arabs will never agree to peace.

History / Should Germany claim to be the victims in Poland? [510]

I think we agree, however just to make sure the musuem should not just include expulsions of all the people of europe but also the events that led to these expulsions. if so then we agree

History / Should Germany claim to be the victims in Poland? [510]

they are related I don't know how to make myself clearer. it boils down to portraying themselves as victims. but so your satisfied the musuem is k if its takes the whole war into account. not k if it focuses only on the expulsion of germans which majority were all too happy to follow hitler. also like to point out it wasn't polands idea to shift borders. you can blame the powers at the yalta conference. also germany for starting the mess. polish communists were the least responsible. wow never thought ill be defending polish communists but it is true

History / Should Germany claim to be the victims in Poland? [510]

isthatu I know the title of the thread idiot the issues are intrrelated. By them claiming compensation that is a form of them trying to potray themselves as victims. If you don't see that they are related you need to work on your reasoning

Germans should not be compensated for several reasons. First Germany started the war. Second it wasn't Polands idea to shift the borders. The German govrrnment should compensate them. To a lesser extent the countries involved in the Yalta conference. Poland is the least responsible of any country. Also surprised that this is an issue. Poland was destroyed and you didn't see any lawsuits brought against Germany. Well To be fair their was this one guy who spent time in a concentration camp but that was after Germans wanted compensation.

Darius Im with you on that law. Also quick reply to previous posts. The Israeli don't target inncocent people purposefully they are just caught in the way because arabs use them as human shields and on the otherhand the arabs specifically target civilians. However if Israel withdrew to their original borders the arabs would not have any excuse to attack them. Not saying they would stop but their would be no logic to it except revenge and the whole world would see the arabs are unreasonable. Then I think more countries would support Israel. However if the arabs did stop the attacks then their would be peace. its a win win for Israel. So by them not willing to withdrawel they are just as guilty as the palatines. Like to add if you would withdrawel and they still attacked I would personally join the Israeli army. If allowed.

History / Jews...and their Polish experience [520]

I am so confused with any neo nazis in Poland. Don't their parents or others say anything. Its one thing to not like Jews but why have Hitler as your hero. Don't they know Hitler didn't like Poles either. Don't they know Hitler killed Poles. **** its bad enough your a extreme racist at least have the deceny to worship a racist that didn't murder poles(this is somewhat satire)

I personally don't have a problem with Jews except the fact that any criticism against Israel is automatically branded as anti-semitism and racist. I definitely have a problem with Israeli foreign policy. Their similar to the palatines and both sides are almost equally responsible. But to be honest the US UK and Russia are responsible for their decisions at the Yalta conference. Almost forgot Germany witch started this whole mess.

I understand the complaints of the Britons even though I myself am Polish. I know its not racism it just seems to you that British culture might disappear. However living in America I can honestly that the children of these Immigrants will intergrate if not the immigrants themselves. Be patient. However these arguments concerning immigrants taking jobs is complete B.S. If your the right candidate for the job you have nothing to worry about. Also the reasons that your government does not stop immigration because their is a shortage of labor in some industries, your population rates are falling in addition to the aging population. Its comes down to living with different cultures or face and economic decline. I gaurantee you the economic situation would be much more dire then your complaints about poles stealing your jobs(jobs britons are unwilling to do or don't have the skills for)

to my polish compatriots imagine leaving your house in krakow warsawa nowy targ poznan or wherever you might live and everybody around you is speaking arabic(arabic just an example so no offence however I do have problem with the extremists but that's a different topic) would you not be pissed. this is fear that your culture is disappearing. its might seem racist but it is logical. its normal. britons you have nothing to fear each culture has its positives and negatives and those positives will live forever. u need to take an objective look at both sides and both sides are right. poles are your friends not your enemy. in the end we are all europeans. the world is not black and white
