Nazism in Poland - A recipe for mass suicide? [176]
Im surprised there is nazism in Poland - Is there? Prove it.
*sigh*
Just some googling would help you out: warsawvoice.pl/view/4130/
"...The operation brought results in Poland as well. In late October, Polish special services received information from the British about an increased frequency of contacts between Polish and British neo-Nazis. What is certain is that Polish extremists published and distributed forbidden brochures and other materials. It is likely that in return, they received financial support, while members of Polish neo-Nazi groups were trained in Western Europe...."chechentimes.org/en/refugees/?id=20719

Buttworst states: More like as in inheritors! Not only was the roman Empire at his end german... [sic]
- So the germans believe the Roman empire was eventually german, i.e. was dominated by them, the germans? Where's the proof that Odoacer has anything in common with, say, schroeder, merkel, or such buttworst? :)))))))))))))
No...YOU stated that the Nazis probably felt superior to the Romans where I brought evidence that they saw themselves rather in the tradition, as the inheritors of the roman empire.
If you have problems to recap your own posts it's no wonder that you don't understand what other posters try to tell you...maybe I should type slower?
Oh God, here you've got the European imbecilism: the germans believe they are Romans and so do the Italians (which is even a more ridiculous delusion), others believe they are the ancient Celts, Greeks, Dacians, Gauls....
Lot's of todays Italy was part of Charlemagnes Imperium which got parted after his death (also what is now France and what is now Germany)...add to that the germanic Lombards or South Tyrol (a former austrian province) you got a lot of german influence in Italy...
here a map for you:
Just for you...the WHOLE territory (yes the green, the yellow AND the orange) were once the Empire of Karl des Großen aka Charlemagne.
But I doubt a German speaks of himself as Celt, Greek, Dacian or as Gaul...why should he?
It's all the racial pride and an attempt to lift one's national self-esteem, isn't it?
No...it's all about history, facts...and yes....we have a proud past! :)
Norman Davies (author of a tolerable but surely not the best history of Poland) suggests we Poles came once from Iran.
Why not...did you?
Should we brag about being the ancient Aryas or Aryans?
And one german Zarathustra by the name of Nietzche used to say proudly that he was Polish, not german....
I don't think you are actually knowledgeable enough to "bragg" about history with me...so...no thanks!
PS: Nietzsche actually said he were proud of his polish descent....and?
I just wonder why his name wasn't something like: Niecziekowski...or such :)
