Love / Foreigner's opinion about polish ladies [304]

guess it depends on who you are trying to impress and for what reason.

Personally I was quite impressed.

Funny. I was there last week and missed all this. Must stop drinking so much, my eyesight is failing!

I guess you did not visit clubs like Decadence,112,River Palace?Or even Arena?

Love / Foreigner's opinion about polish ladies [304]

that lends a whole new meaning to being a 'sharp' dresser!

Some describe it as slutty.I would prefer the expression dress to impress.

widen the level of general culture of speakers here (who form only"males" and "females" and not the civilised beings) the only real Slaves are Ukrainians.

I agree that ukrainian girls are more submissive than polish ones.On the other hand they are more demanding, they want mobile phones, presents etc.In this regard polish girls are more honest.Ukrainian girls in the western Ukraine like in Lvov,Ternopil have much better attitude which resembles from many aspects the polish one.

Kiev girls dress more sharply, always nipples slipping out, many girls with extremely short skirts or half covering shorts or even no skirts at all, only T-shirt.And a lot of bisexuals.Kiev is heaven for people who can afford it.Long live the oligarchs.

think it is necessary to remind that Polish girls are nothing better than simple INTERPOLATION with Ukrainian and German women. Nothing interesting - but a lot of ambitions.

I disagree that polish women are just a mix between ukrainian and german women.Polish people have common traits and resemble each other notoriously, sth leading to conclusion that few mixed marriages happened in Poland.Ukrainian girls are far more diverse.Girls look totally different in Kiev(typical ukrainian),in eastern Ukraine(more russian look),in South Ukraine(mediterranean looks in Mariupol, darker looks in Odessa),in West Ukraine(girls resembling polish in Lvov and Moldovan in Tsernivtsi). So in Ukraine there has been a lot of mix,not in Poland.

Even breast size differs from town to town in Ukraine.

History / Communist Era in Poland: Some questions [28]

We appreciate anything better when there is less of it.

That is why western men adore beautiful girls.

Anyway I was surprised that most people from former communist countries do not make many negative comments about that period. Some even prefer the way things were run by the communists. It is striking in every conversation that there is a big difference between what western media spread about the opinions of people in communist countries and what these people actually believed. After all communism did not fall by an uprising of folks.

History / Communist Era in Poland: Some questions [28]

So Communism had all those aforementioned advantages, and yet living in it was intolerable.

I wonder if any one knows why?
:)

It was this Jaruzelski look.

Life / Is there anything worse than Polish rap? [148]

Czech rap ?:) Maybe not worse but definatelly funny to listen to for polish person :) (no offence)

Czech rap is funny.I noticed that some new polish rap songs are good. After all the country has some similarities with the places where rap was born.

The wrecked buildings on the background, the rough faces are authentic.I think polish rap is true and underground.

News / Polish girl burnt alive, please help me. [42]

I wrote it ironically for Michal who compares the death of a policeman in duty 22 years ago to the brutal murder of an immigrant girl.

Unfortunately, these things do happen and the longer you live the more of this sort of thing you will see. Many years ago, in 1984, I was a student in Moscow and there was an IRA bombing which took place at the same time in London. A police sergeant was killed among them and it just happened to be someone with whom I had worked some years previously. It is always a shock.

It is exactly the same case.Monica was a victim of terrorist attack.

and GB lost their empire...

Exactly what Hitler had forecast that would happen at the end of the war whoever won.
But Churchill refused to cooperate with him and save the empire. This caused Hitler's desperation who offered parts of the empire to Soviet Union but Stalin had different plans.

Do you think those guys want to be there?????

I do not speak about the soldiers but about the british administration in Basra. They have probably managed to keep Iraqis more quiet than the US authorities. This means that they made a lot better impression and used more effectively the means of occupation.Maybe british diplomats have reached some agreements with some leaders there,I do not know.

a walking history book....

Not only history.I like details. They make the story fascinating.
Do you see the British now? They are in Basra and have a very few number of dead soldiers while americans face attacks everyday. How do they manage to handle so well all these folks, all this collonialist experience remains a mystery for me.

It was India, lets get it right.

When the British left, war followed between India and Pakistan and there is still tension between the two countries.Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan that became independant. In Nepal there is civil war and the country was invaded by India in the past.

yes

Southern are you trying to give an English person a history lesson on their Empire ...lol

South Africa became british gradually over 19th century,Dutch having to move to Rodesia where the British came as well and then the wars started.First defeat for the empire by the bold dutch.

I think you will find that was a Dutch colony.

It was until the British took over.Sometimes the Dutch resisted.Have you heard of the Boers war?

Shopgirl, they've alleged he molested sexually a woman from his party

This woman gained some certain advantages by that. There was also a fruit of this relationship. And another minister was served the same benefit.

Actually, I think it was the greatest.

You are exposed now. After all it was not a polish empire.

Dutch, they to had their empire too.

Everybody had colonies even Belgium. The germans lost theirs after WW1.
Look what happens now where there was the british empire.Israel,Cyprus,Iraq,South Africa,Sudan,Somalia,Pakistan. There is civil war in every territory.British had a certain system of division and control.

If there must be a separation of Church and State, I would also recommend a separation of Sex and State! :D

Tell that to the Poles after the recent sex scandals.

[quote=shopgirl]The people who support Bush actively know very well why they do so.
Few have benefited financially from Iraq invasion?Huge companies undertook there reconstruction with huge profits.Who gains from oil selling, reserves and american military presence in the region? How can USA have a GDP growth of 3.5% and unemployment 4% or even less when the budget deficit reaches 700 billion dollars? Why does China and Saudi Arabia give this money to stabilize american economy?

When the economy is in such a good shape it is reasonable that Bush wins the elections.
Clinton fell because he did not manage to control the revolution of blacks in L.A.Bush has managed to control even the Hispanics.

No,no.Italian fascism, croatian ustashi and hungarian right extremism are very far from the national socialistic system. It takes certain circumstances to develop that.

For example do you think that communism could ever prevail in USA given the american circumstances? It is certainly impossible.

I'm sorry but if everything would had been known to the Germans to what choosing Hitler would lead to I really, really, really doubt they would act the same...

I think the Germans knew very well what Hitler did and the majority agreed. What did they oppose? The germanization of Czechs? The use of Poles as slave workers? The formation of colonies in Ukraine? The rule over Balcans or the unification of european economy under german currency and political control? The anti-communist military raid?Hitler's dreams were not without support from an overwhelming majority.

I am surprised that you missed my meaning.....it supports the idea that Germans were deceived by a charismatic leader....

No,not at all. What happened with Hitler could happen only in Germany.National socialism was absolutely and deeply german cultural product. No other land had similar background.

They attacked to honor their alliance with Austria...so much for loyalty and what it get's you! :(

You want us to believe that the Germans died for the good of Austria?Man even an Austrian would laugh by that.

Yes but the Germans attacked. The other countries had defensive plans.
Accept from Russia which was forced by the French to attack to relieve them from the german pressure.
