And how many black people are there in Poland that there to be black people in advertisements?

It wasn't an outright snub but I'm surprised that they haven't thought about sending Hillary Clinton. That woman makes so many trivial and ineffective trips, she should think about a more symbolic and meaningful one.

A foot note to this thread, now that the event has passed

Poland plays down low US presence at WWII commemoration
euractiv.com/en/central-europe/poland-plays-low-us-presence-wwii-commemoration/article-184948

Poland said no excessive meaning should be attached to the fact that the USA is sending a low-level delegation to a commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the beginning of World War II, the Polish press reported.

"It's hard to judge invited guests on the basis of their will to attend a gathering or not," he said. "Those who want to be there shall come. And we should be happy with those who will arrive and not pass judgment on those who cannot come to Poland for various reasons," Komorowski said.

It seems the "tempest in a teacup" was mostly celebrated here on the forum. No big deal......

I like Poland and a lot of its people, but I don't like the attitude that everything the US does is wrong. That is mostly what I get from the ppl on this forum. It doesn't matter what year it is, or who is Prez, they will find something to complain about. It is their nature. How silly of me to try to reframe a situation to illustrate how unfair the accusation!

You do realize that there is only a tiny fraction of really polish people here. So the asinine US bashing is not done by them alone. OK, maybe a couple of people who got their a** kicked here because they thought they will be picking dollars of the trees, but instead they had to work.

Unfortunately, this the sentiment in Europe. Let them think whatever they want. The USA will get into a** kicking mode again no matter what whiners and complainers think.

They are talking about mobile interceptors now in order to not anger the big bear.

See how everyone kisses America's ass and bends to our will? Hah! What lies and this proves it!

People are only expressing their opinions on PF.
Officials (apart from the fact that they are mostly fukkers and cvunts) express an official position, its so called diplomatic statement.
Its only indication how valuable in the eyes of USA is Poland. It no news to me - so I don't care:P

Any examples or you talking out of your ass?

Are you feel bigger ?Better ? stronger ?
You personally, because your army killed someone again ?
What a peculiar attitude, no wonder USA is going to the dogs with such citizens.

There's all this talk about how Eastern Europe should do more to befriend immediate neighbors, like Germany and Russia and not kiss America's ass. This sounds like Eastern Europe is doing what the people want. The top officials were from Germany, Russia, and Italy. Why would anyone complain? They are just satisfying the public by not kissing the US's ass. This proves the US isn't as big a player as people think so you can stop saying the world kisses the USA's butt all the time. Peace and Thanks!

Who is complaining ?

Hey is not about kissing and asses girl :P

This proves the US i

don't give a dam about Poland and their military support or they are confident that regardless Poland will continues to support USA military.

Some people are expressing that concern about one sided friendship between Poland and USA.
Don't panic :D

Peace and Thanks!

Same to you!

Where USA only takes .....

Well, I'm looking at pics of the ceremony. I think Obama should have gone. Poland is a good ally after all. Sorry for my rude comments.

Wait... really?

When did Kenya enter the war? ;) ;) Wait, maybe Obama can shed some light on that, if only he could find his birth certificate. He's a mongrel pending further proof ;) ;)

Technically, I already had that, sort of.
Relax, man, I'm not here to get onto your case after you do something like apologize for unwarranted rudeness. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't screwing with us.
