You might ask.. Why,am I portraying the Valor of the Polish Soldier, when I am a American.. PRIDE in my heritage my son.. My folks came from Poland

poles go on about pride and i sit here looking around i find myself asking, what exactly is there to be proud about?

You know what,its one of those things that have bubbled under for years now,it depends who you speak to,ask an old Desert Rat and he'd probably punch you on the noes :) But,lots of peopl who know a lot about these things seem to think its fact. I know my G Grandfather was apparently quite vocal in his dislike for Monty, G G was an old 1st war vet whod come up through the ranks and during the last war was a lt cnl in Commbined ops planning and training. Apparently whenever Montys name was mentioned he'd snear and tell everyone within earshot how great Eisenhower was :)

brings a whole new meaning to coducting operations from the rear and rearguard action....
